The iron gate closed harshly behind me as I stepped through into the overgrown gardens beyond. It was like walking through one of those stereotypical front yards that grow in front of that house where you just /know/ someone is going to die. And if you were to think just the same of this house, I daresay you wouldn’t be far off in that description. At least, in my opinion.
iron is in the word irony which has nothing to do with the actual element iron. Even though the only difference in wording is the y at the end of irony. another interesting thing is that iron is a metal but i am not sure if it’s magnetic. also you can use iron as a verb if you are flattening something or straightening something. like you iron clothes or hair. it’s a super useful word.
iron is strong and manly. Or it could be something you use to make shirts all nice and pressed. That makes since. It’s a double word. Two meanings. Very Nice.

Big purple lines marked her cheek where it had hit. She looked in the mirror and all she saw was that fist.
I don’t have enough iron in my blood. I get that from my incredibly anemic mother. I’m hoping that will be the only blood disease I inherit from her though. My mother is fighting leukemia right now and I don’t think I’ll be strong enough to fight it if I do happen to have the gene that cause the cancer…welp minute’s up.
