If you wait, all you are left with is a deafening blast, and the sense that you missed something important. Grab hold, and don’t let go. Because someday that idea might save your life.
It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up and shiver. The loud claps that follow, warn me to keep inside. Bright flashes make my eyes widen with wonderment.

your eyes hit me like lightning, i bristled with the promise of your gaze, too afraid to reach out, too scared to draw away. i remember the last time this happened.. recoiling and yearning at the thought simultaneously. an idea flitted across my mind: lightning wasnt supposed to strike twice.
The lightening danced across the parkway. I was mesmerized and terrified at the same time. I felt my mortality and how small I am in the scheme of things. I felt myself at God’s mercy.

The world lit up as blue streaked across the sky, followed half a second later by a thunderous crash. Rain poured harder and the trio ran faster, desperately seeking shelter. They shouted to each other, trying to give directions, to give warnings, but the thunder and the wind drowned out their words.
The lighting was so strong, it set the horses wild. We didn’t know what to do, the two of us. The cove was the best place to stay until the storm was over.. Unfortunately, neither of us realized how wrong we were.
Fuck lighting man. Shit’s terrifying. From a human perspective that is. The actual physical/chemical process of lighting is nothing short of breathtaking. But if you’re a squishy meat puppet, lighting is terrifying. I’ve seen people get struck twice in a row. Don’t believe everything you hear.
I see that the gods granted me a gift. Lightning struck me and I feel empowered. The rational side of me suddenly told me that this isn’t possible. The next moment I felt nothing. My loved ones crying.
I remember the one late saturday afternoon that I saw the sky such colors, purples, yellows, reds and greens and fantastic lightning. and thought it was the coming of the end of time. It was beautiful.
It was a humid summer day, and the rain was coming in. My brother and I joined friends at the top of the hill to watch the storm roll in. The lightning struck impressively upon the hilltop as we “ooh-ed” and “ah-ed” at the oncoming storm’s performance.
Lightning, the first thought that comes is about thunderstorms and lightening in the sky. However quickly the second thought came that looked like lightning the load being a lighter person not having so much heaviness around me. This is something that would be nichave since mainly I feel heavy
it is something that would struck you. well, it symbolizes something that gave you this some kind of inspiration. it is an energy that is so powerful that it would urge you to do it immediately.
On rainy days, Shiloh and I used to love to sit on the porch swing at my house, where we’d listen to the rain and watch for lightning. We’d wrap up in the yellow quilt my grandma made, our heads touching so our hair would mix together. I miss that. I miss her.
lightning is one of those rare events which really distinguishes people. it says something about you if you love it, and it definitely says something if you hate it. no matter how you feel about it though, i don’t think anyone would disagree that it’s mesmerizing. the way it splits the sky clean in half and with such theatricality makes it one of the most captivating phenomena I’ve seen
I like sitting at home on a rainy day, to hear the thunder and lightning outside. Normally when it’s a gloomy day, i get depressed, and the lightning kind of reflects my mood. theres still a light inside me even when im feeling down.

I love the look of lightning in the sky.
You know the scene. It’s dark, the thick veil of ominous clouds blot out the moon’s attempt to shine. The night turns black. Black and wet.
Then, with suddenness unmatched, lightning breaks free and lights the sky and all that dwells beneath it for one, vivid moment of clarity.
