Mellow. I remember that: it’s almost exactly how I’m not feeling now. The problem is that I look around at the world, and what I expect to be heartbreaking beautiful, that blue glass marble rolling serenely through space, is in face full of things which enrage you, whip you into fury, into shame, into pity, horror, fear and the overwhelming sense that being calm is wrong, because there is too much to be angry about.
I feel cool, mello relaxed for the first time in my life. I have tried everything to get relaxed bathing, cleaning, excercising, but nothing worked except hanging out with my incredible friends watching a fabulous movie.
Mellow yellow it sounds sort of smooth and easy. I mellow out just hearing the sound of it but know it has much more inside. the words inside might give a clue, -low, down deep, feeling relaxed, beneath the radar. me- something personal, close to yours truly. -ello- a futile attempt at a greeting, cut short by lack of strength or muscle. Mellow, lines go in smooth curves without end. There is no top or bottom, no exit. I sense it is a taste that comforts my tongue and let’s me go on my weary way of beginnings and ends, without complaint. Bowing without compromise, stepping over and through complications, mellow takes me through to do it again and again with haste.
I’m feeling pretty mellow today. Homesickness has something to do with it. I just don’t seem to fit it here. I just want to be happy like I was back home, bot this melancholy mellow bullshit. My glass is just half full and I need to top it up somehow. Internet searching is helping a bit.
The little girl named Elva had pink cheeks and shiny black hair. When she opened her mouth, a sarcastic “So….” came out and her eyes were sunken. Blessed to protect others from danger, or cursed, she was world weary and had mellowed in the year for the centuries.
