  1. Sometimes I wonder if morals mean anything to anyone anymore. People claim that they have certain values and morals, but they never seem to stick to them. Why believe in something if you will one day turn your back on it? Maybe it is just a waste of time to set standards for yourself.

  2. there are good and bad. not everyone has morals, or some think they do while others don’t believe in them. i feel that morals are the strongest part of a person. they tell you what you need to know about someone, and they make up the core of someone. two people can be so compatible but it all comes down to similar character and beliefs. i’ve tried to walk down other paths, but you can’t change your core. it’s hard to erase yourself. although where do our morals come from? are they ours or the beliefs instilled by others?

  3. Morals are something that are causing me discomfort. For the first time in a year I am tempted. I was never used to be tempted. It never got that far. But now I am tempted. I’m going to hold tight to my morals and hope for the best.

  8. A set limitations of which is good or bad. He sets the standards that we must follow. We cannot see the whole picture so by living by His ideal morals we can achieve more than we ever though possible. Its undeniable his perfections and our goal.

  10. I wish i had morals. I grew up with them, lived with them for so long and then one day, all of it just went out the window. Just like that all possible shame an inhibition just… left. Never to be seen again.

  11. The funny thing is that the people who champaign morals are usually the ones who break them the most. the Political and Religious spheres especially. The truest definition of the word “hypocrite”.

  12. i have no morals. i have been in so many situations that i have put the blame on others to get ahead. it makes me sick to think what kind of person i have become to let people fall by the way side so that i can get ahead, the more i think about it i just make myself believe it is a dog eat dog world and im not in the wrong.

    it started out as a simple lesson at the end of a fable. but when i took humanities: values with mr. olson my definition of morals changed greatly…kind of like my morals, beliefs, and values have in the past couple of years

  15. what we live by. Jesus Christ sets the limit. We cannot be perfect by out own morals and standards only He has the perfect level and set morals. We need him to survive. We need him in all things. Morality is not subjective people, see the truth in Him!

  16. One must remember to keep theirs in tact and never to let them go for another. It’s been done before, and I feel too often I have been guilty of this. In forgetting my morals for social gain, I have backtracked on my learning.

  17. makes you a better person. can be in a story. teaches a lesson. creates a better environment for people to live in. it is purple. valuable. good to have. parents should teach their children them. the more of them, the better the person. more morals=more knowledge. can change other people around you by presenting yours. :)

  19. I’m coming undone. I had heard in the past of a boy expected to have no morals has more than anyone I know. Sometimes I think I’ve fallen in love with him not from what I’ve heard, but from what I see in him. I want him to so badly kiss me like he had kissed her at that show about a year ago. He can be nice, but he’s tough. Goddamned Crusties.

  20. Morals. The lecture of morals. It wouldn’t be so bad it it were my Mom, standing over me telling me I should know better. But, It was my 32 year old daughter, shaking er finger, pacing and raising her voice as if she were about to ground her old kid!

  21. I have no morals. I learned my morals as a young child and they have become skewed over the many years i have been a member of society. I wish they would be better or I was better equipped to stick to them but so it is.

  22. I’m unsure what my morals are. I’ve given up on my religion. On any religion. I’ve given up on society, or at least the only kind I’ve known. All I really believe in is love. I suppose that’s my moral. To love.

  24. Morals are a cheap accessory to some. They are in this way akin to religion. It’s very sad in my opinion. I feel as though the world could stand to think of morals as tattoos instead.

  27. we are taught with good morals as we grow up.
    however, later on, we realize that these things are not meant to be taught; that instead, they are meant to be followed.
    people often misinterpret having good morals as being phony when, in fact, it is more of a challenge – for us to be able have guidelines in life. to be able to clearly differentiate the good and the bad.

  30. Many people don’t have them. I try not to forget, but forgetfulness gets the best of me. I don’t know why it’s so hard, but life would be so much better without it. There’s so much expectancies, and sooner or later you just don’t care anymore.

  31. I have changed. I no longer am the child my grandparents brought me up to be, but I finally have become myself. I would love to be like them, to have their faith and their belief, but I can’t.

  33. what your life is built on – your traditions, honor, and pride. ideals that you think you should follow and believe and the measurement that is used to judge others. standards that you follow and find acceptable. what you actions and decisions are influenced by. your life’s teaching. things that you learn and discover everyday – some of which are fixed; others are changed and adjusted. what you preach and embrace. what you forced and fight for. what makes you you and what makes others either your friend or enemy. influences how you see the world and others. something that is different for everyone – but everyone got one or two or a few dozen and endless – too many to count or realize. a line that defines what you believe is right and wrong and how far will you go – physical, emotional, spiritual.

  35. i think morals have so much to do with how you are raised as a child… for example i am very conservative because my mom is. but still i tend to lean on the liberal side because ive always WANTED to be like my dad. its weird. morals are something you are definitely taught…

  40. morals. very important to some, and loosely bound to others. does everyone have them or are they thrown out like an old pair of jeans. or perhaps like an old pair of jeans kept very closely. hmm?
