we hadn’t been back for years, and it was still as incredible as we remembered. The 1.5 tonne stuffed Walrus still sat as the centrepeice, looming over astonished spectators of all sizes, and frightening our boys, just as it had frightening us all of those years ago.
My heart is a museum of you. It is full or things that were and no longer are. Things that are aged and overlooked. Things that were beautiful. Things of the past. Will you walk through and examine the artifacts? Will you comment on which ones are your favourites? Will you try to remember a time when they had meaning? Or will you act as a child, just wanting to get out so you can return to the sunshine and wholesomeness of your own heart?
I really like museums because there are so many dead things in them. Yet people go in to look at the dead things and they aren’t scared by them. There’s this feeling of respect, and I wonder what it would be like if people were viewed at museums too. But I’m really only thinking of the natural history museums where dead animals are kept in stuffing. I cannot reitterate to what extent i JUST LOVE MUSEUMS. I swear, I’m not a necrophiliac, I just really like DEAD THINGS. You know what I mean. So anyways, I’d really like to get to know more about dead things y’know!
The first thing he wanted to go to when he arrived in this pseudo-peaceful city was the museum.
It was boring, his sister said, but he went on anyway because he wanted to see the painting made by that genius his friend was bragging about that he knew. It was pathetic, really, but he can’t help admiring his bestfriend, and he feels like he’s closer to him by half a step if he sees all the beauty his friends sees.
One day, he knows, they’ll be equals. But that won’t be in a while, and he’s happy with the way things are for the moment.
its the one place where you can always gather information. and also extremely boring. and old. and dusty. and always has an old watchman you yells at you for touching the items. poor old guy.
In my mind, there are artifacts. Lovingly, obsessively dusted, adorned, set behind glass frames. And in my darkest hours I stroll through the hallways of love days and make it hurt so much turning around that I promise I’ll never return.
i have no particular interest in museum because they give an a air of fabrication which is very uncomfortable, instead it would be great to visit a quiet place
that’s a place where there is art, full of life and breath and people who think they are far superior than others. you see and yet you do not know. you know yet you do not comprehend. why God made them is a mystery to all that has not been given the gi
It was just a normal trip to a museum, how in the hell did any of this crap happen!? It all started out normal, but then everything went twilight zone and just kept right on into crazyville! Sigh, I really hate my life sometimes.
The symphony orchestra has been described as a museum. It maintains and displays the repertoire of ages past and promotes current artists and composers. I think the description is apt.
he took me to the museum to show me everything we’ve been talking about the last few weeks. i couldn’t get enough of listening to his voice while he talked about science. he knew so much more than me, and that was most likely the reason i was more attracted to him compared to all the others all my life. he is spectacular.
The Natural History Museum in New York City is one place that I would like to visit. What stops me from doing that is my hatred of large cities. I do not enjoy going into place that I could not escape from very easily.
Once upon a time there was a little girl in who decided to go to the museum. Then she got locked inside and she got sooooo scared that she almost fainted, when she opened her eyes, she was in the 1900s!
I lobee the museum. The national history museum Is My favorite. I love going to the air am space museum and riding the simulator. Night at the Museum was a funny movie, but the sequel was bad. I went to the Native American Museum in fourth grade and had a lot of fun. I ate a buffalo burger there.
old ruins, field trips, walking together, a history of forever.
I’d like to turn back and touch the glistening sky
but I’m stuck in the moment
like I’ll forever be
always looking back.
waiting for the right moment to see…
ımuseum is a word includes 7 letters, now u must have counted it , yess one more is in my mind , ı cant throw it out , maybe oneday ı can put it in a good museums tho show people
She steped out the car and looked up at the museum, it was larger then she remembered as a child, though she was scertain nothing inside had changed. Nothing here ever seemed to change no matter how much time sent by. She thought of the hours she had spent here during her child hood, the days she had spent dreaming of times long ago…
I’ve already written about museums. I suppose that when i last logged on here it must have been very early this morning because I had thought it was last night :/ Oh well, at least you know that I really like this site :)
My least favorite memory of Paris is in the louvre. I was with somebody who couldn’t appreciate the silent halls upon halls of works of art for what they are. She wanted to go to the Virgin Megastore across the way. I caved and went to cease her endless bitching. My biggest Parisian regret.
I walked into the vast place, excitement filling my mind. It was going to be a good day, but mostly because I would get to see her. She was the reason I came here in the first place, and she’s the thing that keeps me coming back for more, She’s an enigma.
This desolate place
this archaic ruin
there’s an empty space
set me free
I’m shackled here
but you can’t see
You’ve lost your way
and don’t have a map
So I stay
in this pit trap.
These can be quite interesting places, depending on your personality. Museums usually store artefacts or important things that are rare to get. Like an original copy of paintings
i went into a museum
it was very nice , colorful too!
I learn alot of things in there . But it was somewhat boring . yaaawn , goodbye. Have a nice day .
I went to the museum last day. It was lovely as I finally met my beloved one, after 2 months of being apart. I was able to hug her, kiss her on her cheek and say how much I love her. It was really lovely place for me. At that time I also realised how fun our city musem was.
museum’s are historical cemeteries. a hallway dedicated to the dead, extinct or forgotten. it’s scary, don’t you think, that one day you might be in a museum? that one day, no one will remember at all who you were or what you meant. or if you meant anything at all.
I have essays to write. I should not be here.
But the subject I chose for my roman archeology course was based off a piece I found in the museum at Cleveland, so I guess that sort of relates. At least this word reminds me what I’m supposed to be doing… I wish it didn’t. I hate having a conscience about homework.
Honestly.
Why can’t I just…y’know…slack off? Without feeling badly about it?
Who cares about grades?
Oh. Wait. Me. Great.
I wish I could take a walk through your mind as if it were a museum. see every corner of your thoughts up close, no lies, no room for hiding, nothing but the truth.

The museum looked much different at night. The halls were ominous with the history that resided there. This was no place for a 6-year-old by herself.
