Greek people tried to make up their own gods but really didn’t do too well because all they did was think of people who are really ripped and have pretty dumb powers. Except for Zeus, that dude’s a beast. He probably was the best thing to happen to the greeks because he could kill anyone he wanted to and that was cool.

and his sharp, snarky comments about how she had barely ever paid any attention in all of those classes in lower school on mythology. there were too many names, she complained, you know i cant do names. he would always just roll his eyes and tell her it was cause really, she just never paid any attention, and then she’d glare, and somehow they’d end up wrapped up around one another. but tonight, it had somehow devolved into a real sort of fight in which he wouldn’t stop insulting her and she wouldn’t stop sulking.

You can tell me all of it, I’ve heard it all before. Not just from you. There have been others. I promise you. I hear a new one every other week. The stories always get bigger, they always get better. You have no idea the mythology that I hear.

I was never really interested in mythology. I remember when Josh did a presentation on it in sixth grade and I thought it was the most boring thing ever. Now I’ve come to appreciate it, if only in small doses. How about Ariadne, who builds the dreams in Inception? The same Ariadne who builds mazes in Greek mythology?

Mythology, one of those great things to where it falls under the same as religion. As far as the bible goes, it falls under the same catagory as David vs Goliath or Perseus vs. Medusa.
