  2. Christopher was under the impression that visiting his family members once in a while was an absolute necessity. When he visited, it appeared that his siblings would come to visit as well, and any time when his brother was keeping out of trouble and away from his habits of recidivism.

  3. we cant live without necessities. it breathes into our lives like our soul. it bridges a gap between us and the world. thats what necessity is for us. for living things water is a necessity. if you dont have water what would you do? die i guess. Its a term that we revolve around completely. we’re dependent on it and will always be.

  5. Necessity, thats a funny word. I don’t really know what there is to write about it. But necessity. Being famous to be is a necessity. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am today and I refuse to let it all go to waste. i have so much invested. i will be great. For me, for my family, for those that depends

  6. I couldn’t figure out what she wanted, what she needed. It was necessary that I suss this out. She sat there with her elbows on her knees and her hair falling over her face. She wouldn’t look at me. I know that being a teenager was an incredibly hard and awkward time in anyone’s life, but she had to know that it gets a lot easier and the world was hers for the taking. She just had to take it.

  17. I have a necessity for almost everything in life. I feel that love is the most important necessity. And also having the “Bare Necessities” is enough for me to be happy as quoted from Disney. I love disney. It’s a necessity that makes me feel unbearably happy as it brings me back to my childhood. Necessity is something that means that you need it to live.

  22. is not the mother of invention after all…mothers are the necessity for all invention from grilled cheese sandwiches to screwing in lightbulbs on the ceiling w/o a ladder not to mention inventing new recipes daily for 40 years esp. when the kids come home again to roost after they graduate from university w/ tons of degrees and student loan debt and no jobs

The bare necessities, she recalled from that childhood song, that silly movie, and being mindful of this was what kept her dress white, her posture erect, her eyes full of keen equanimity. Up against the Rousseau-like tangle of sour colors of vines that grasped at the window panes, this was what kept her floating like lone punctuation in a nonsensical children’s book, the margins which imprisoned its characters and made even imagination behave.

  24. It wasn’t something I needed, something I thought was cool or interesting. It was a necessity. I had to have it. It was like a compulsion. Yes, that was it. I was compelled to have it. The smooth green glass of the bowl looked creamy and welcoming. I had no idea what I would do with it, but I knew I had to have it.

  28. I have to do things that are urgent and necessary. These things are duties. Although they have a gigantic toll but they are necessary. Like visiting your grandmother or asking about a friend or sacrificing your relaxed schedule and instead of couching you go to do some necessary papers.

  33. “Necessity” starts with an “n” and ends with a “y.” If something is a necessity, it is necessary. Toothbrushes are often a necessity, as are clothes, food, and water. It’s bad to not have a necessity. Don’t try it.

  36. What is a necessity? For some people it may be power or unlimited resources. However, these things aren’t real necessities. Love is the answer so most questions. So what is a necessity in my life? Love and light and friends and family and good times. Food and water seem a lot less important than those.

  37. I have the necessity to feel. I have the necessity to feel for others, too. I don’t know why I feel the need to be so down on myself, and harsh on others. Life is so interesting that way – why do we feel the need to do anything? Self preservation is key, isn’t it? So why do I feel the necessity to help my friend when I really, truly just have the need to breath, eat and drink.

  38. There is so little known about necessity. I believe that there are needs such as water, air, food, sleep and sex. But, in addition there are the needs of the human psyche as opposed to yet in correlation with the human body. There must be so much we don’t know that we need.

  40. Necessity. It really is something that is hard to figure out. We all live, we all die. So what is the in between? What do we do with our lives, and what is really necessary? So many times I’m stuck doing what I feel like I should be doing, but not what I feel I really need to do for me.
