  11. I’ve recently noticed my powerful and insightful beliefs on being a feminist. I’ve noticed that the word feminist actually scares people and that they are ignorant to what the word actually means. It does not mean that we think we are better than men.. that would be hypocritical and, essentially, counterproductive. We are striving for equality, for everyone. Feminists do not rule out any religion, race, sex, political beliefs or any other ideas that may seem off-putting or irregular. Enlighten yourself and learn something. Read a book, an article, anything.. get yourself involved and exert yourself to understand unfamiliar issues that you have never before explored.
