I feel like I’m pedaling really fast downhill toward what I’m expected to do and who I’m expected to be. I have no brakes and no chance to turn around. I’m scared. So scared that I’m at the point where it’s very hard to care anymore.

put the pedal to the metal! that’s really the only thing I could think of when presented with the word pedal. And for some reason I always think that pedal should be spelled differently, although I’m not sure how I think it should be spelled. Pedle, maybe? or perhaps I’m thinking of peddle, which is another meaning entirely. But basically the most important thing is make sure your pedals don’t stick in your car, otherwise you could end up careening down a hill and dying in a fiery fiery crash.

I put the pedal to the metal and went zoom, zoom. I felt like a commercial for some kind of fantastic car going through a mountain pass. I even heard the music in my head. If only I could BUY one of those.
