See a penny pick it up all the day you have good luck. I have to do this. My Dad said this all the time and I think of him. My hubby says leave the change for the kids.
one penny two penny three penny four. i found a penny over there on the floor. they cost more to make than they are worth but they are a symbol of simplicity. but they should go away. but now im not sure what to write bc i a out of practice
I was lost in the street in Tokyo and I needed to spend a penny, so I tripped over the side of a dustbin, knocked over fifty two bikes and and old man, and was transported to a toilet in a dark little cafe selling white rabbits and kitty soup. i didn’t get to wee anyway.
I am amazed with a power of a penny. If you have one you do not care if you have many you care. Is ut a power in in in us holding to it? No penny to strings attached to it? I am free from penny power! And you?
Attitude changer. Little copper glint from the pavement saying, “look at me! You found me! Girl, you are lucky today!”. That was Grandma’s explanation of pennies. Her walk to school trick to distract my mind from Mom’s well aimed bruises. In the afternoon, Mom walked me home. She’d criticize me for looking at the ground. “Stop that, it looks like you’re looking for money!!” Naw, Ma, I’m looking for myself…
The shiny new penny gleamed in the sunlight. No matter that it was lying at the bottom of the sewer. It shone like the promise of candy amid the mundane sludge.
A penny for your thoughts? Why so cheap? Are thoughts so meaningless? Perhaps some are while others are priceless. Do you give away your thoughts so cheaply? Sometimes.
the pennies at work are new these days. this brilliant shimmering shade of copper. If it weren’t for the fact that i am almost mindlessly involved in money exchange, I would sit and touch them, enjoying their smoothness. They are so different
I didn’t have a penny with me as I stood on the pavement. Taxis zipped by, carloads of partygoers with loud music blasting. I was on my own. Not a soul in sight, I wondered what to do. I decided to beg.
A penny is a completely useless ideal that should have been dropped a long time ago. We should move to a paperless and coin less society. It will take time to make sure everything works but we should be moving that way.
it s the lowest valued currency. penny is smallest form of change. there s a book clled not a penny less and not a penny more… atleast something like dat
a beautiful penny. glistening on the side walk. with the face of a famous gleaming back at me. do i make you proud? or am i just a waste case that you’re taunting to pick up your greatness?
penny penny penny. whats a penny? not but more than copper circle that controls my life due to its power. sadly tis but the least controlling of them all. we are forever doomed…
penny s d smallest form of currency. using a penny u cud buy some chocolates for ur kids perhaps or drop it in a beggar’s bowl.it is not of much value…
I hate using pennies. A penny is fine. Having millions of them in a bucket makes it very heavy to carry. However, a penny can be some sort of treasure for someone. Or it could be just trash bait for the rest of you
will it rust at the touch of your fingers?
will it shine at the gleam of your touch?
You always did have a habit of taking something simple and making it beautiful.
When I was a little girl, I know a girl name Penny. I used to wonder why does her parents name her that? The only definition of penny that I know of is the money in the U.S., and a penny worth so little. Maybe they just think that the name is cute.
A penny can do so little, yet so much at the same time. It can be such an insignificant piece of currency, but when you need that extra penny or two so you don’t have to break a dollar, it is great. In all honesty I hate pennies.
suddenly a shiny coin – a penny – fell out of his pocket. A group of boys ran to pick it up. Then a larger guy brushed them aside a stood staring back at him with a look of bitter recognition.
suddenly a creature appeared, pound eyes and covered in pennies he roared and they all fell in silence-could it be? Yes it could be, the PENNY MONSTER! …
the least amount of money one can spend, its not worth anything in todays economy. its the amount i care about you you suck. not that i care about u sucking but u suck anyways. you think? well..don think..u suck what the hell am i supp 2 say nw? u have ne idae wats going on??? what the hell is this? damn u ppl

the penny was face down but she picked it up anyway. Hell, with the other change in her pocket she may be able to get some noodles after all. Man, it’s a shame that the shifts last so long, she thought, i never have time to eat anything other than this shitty gas station food.
pennys count.
a penny is a thought, no, it is more than a t hought. A penny represents the foundation of American culture and the sole focus of some lives as it is based on consumerism and buying. But a penny also represents the mindset of a first world country, in that capitalism is the hardcore foundation of such. In that we, the residents of first class world countries, use pennnies–and for some of us that means picking them up off the sidewalk–then it can also have meanings beyond the merely financial.
Pennies can be a representation of the state of mind that everything is possible, that regardless of what today brings tomorrow may bring something entirely different–and richer. That we can make more pennies with this one penny. That when we respect a penny, we respect a dollar. And when we respect a dollar we respect not only ourselves but our role in society, our fellow human being, and our country as a place in the worl.
Pennies are also pretty things. Have you ever looked at a penny and thought, “Oooh, shiny.” Yes, indeed.
Pennies are these minuscule little amounts of money that people so easily disregard. It’s interesting to me that even though it IS money, something they can get something in return for, people throw them away so easily. I’ve seen people drop pennies on the ground and simply leave them there because they feel like it is more work to pick them up than they are worth…
