  4. i first think of animal prints that my grandmother wore. as a young child i thought them to be strange and old lady like. who wore cheetah? shoes, purses, shirts. you name it. but now that it has become a trend, i am always reminded of that feeling of when i was a child, thinking it was bizarre. only when society says its okay did i accept it.

  5. i WISHT THE WORD PRINTS WAS WHAT WE USED INSTEAD OF PANTS. IT WOULD BE FUNNIER TOP WALK AROUND TALKING ABOUT OUR PRINTS BEING WET. i DUN’T KNOW WHY, BUT i JUST THINK THIS IS TURE. IT WOULD ALSO BE FUNNY TO PUT PRINTS IN A RETAIL SHOP.

  17. I love prints of all colors shapes and designs. Many different people use prints in art that are very beautiful. I love how many varieties of prints there are! I can’t believe how amazing and intricate some prints can be, and how many different surfaces can be used in printing!

    Finger prints.

    I always wanted a detective kit when I was younger. They used to sell little finger printing kits for kids, where you could dust on white powder or black powder and then lift a print and tape it to the opposite colored paper (white powder on black paper or black powder on white…) I think a little booklet came with them and probably also a magnifying glass. The round kind with a handle (- Which I’d also seen used to burn leaves or burn initials into a seesaw!)

    Walking through the fabric store, I breathe in the air like a mermaid soaks in clean salt water. I can’t help but brush my hands against each fabric as I walk by, the smooth silks, the plush velvets, the cozy fleece, the bumpy delicate lace, and the crisp cotton prints. In my element, my creative juices rise, my pulse quickens, and my fingers begin to twitch.

One’s purpose for printing may be to possess a second copy, or a hard copy, of an image or document for a variety of purposes. Prints, once created, can be quite useful.

  38. When the prints were ready, David hung them out to dry and watched the images ooze out in red patterns before him. Upstairs, his wife was making dinner in the kitchen, the TV blaring an old Seinfield episode with the same old bass transitions. In the backyard, his sons were playing catch.

    As his eyes focused and unfocused, David morphed in the red glow around him, completely at peace.

  40. To make prints. Patterns. I love patterns. Some people think patterns on clothes are tacky, but I think those people are just boring. Why wear something plain, when you can have something striped? People are afraid to be different. Wear a print once in a while, make a change.
