She told me she was proud of hitting her teacher, she didn't care what anyone thought. He was an asshole; he tried to molest her. The day came when she walked into class with her fists ready, and this was the way her class started everyday for 6 months. Then he tried to touch her, and she hit him. In the throat, with knuckles bared, and she told me she was proud.

Proud. The feeling that you get every time you gaze opon the face of our american flag. The same feeling a father experiences when his son wins a track award. The same feeling a family feels when their son or daughter tells them that they are going to support their country and go to war to protect it. By looking at our beautiful flag, we experience a feeling that can only be described as the word 'Proud'.

I feel it is racist to have replaced a punk girl in Gossip Girl books with a proud ethnic girl in the TV show.

i feel proud when i look at what my friend achieve, at what my boy and i achieve together. At how from such small beginnings we have come together to create such beauty from pain. Its in these moments that i look at him and my love feels overwhelming.

I'm proud of me, i survived. i got a new job when i needed one.

proud um reminds me of that country song 'proud to be an american.' it also reminds me of how proud my mother was when i told her that i was on the crew team at my college, even though i walked on with my roommate and zero experience. people seem to be proud over very insignificant moments.

Its not htat I feel proud its that i feel demeaneed, yet happy that I have forced myself to do so many things. But yet, I am not proud at all of any of them. That time i kicked that janitor, anxd that time I bit the retarded kid. That is life, at least be proud of what you did, and not of what you might possibly maybe probably not do.

I like to think that pride is a product of the human will realizing that in its self and its ability to accomplish things within this reality lies the spark of genius and perfection that makes us unique beings
