  2. She walked with a purpose. A purple purpose which flowed and ate within her, leaving her to be something that I had never experienced before in my life. I cannot say that I regretted her purpose which both carried her in and out of my life. For without it I never would have gone on the greatest journey of my life. She was my greatest victory. So was her death. I will never forget her purpose, breathing in and out of me. It will kill me too. I cannot believe how much I miss her.

  4. The purpose of life is to live. Without living, you are dead, and then there is no purpose. Hence, you have to live your life with purpose or else you die alone and unwanted. After you die you disappear into nothingness and oblivion because there is no one to save you from your imminent demise. If there is no purpose to life then there is no purpose to death either.

  29. I don’t have any purpose in life,” said the grasshopper to the ant, fiddling away as he watched the ant busily storing food for the winter. “And I like it that way.”

The ant looked at him disdainfully and said, “You’ll be sorry come Winter, you lazy sack of shit.”

Sure enough, Winter came. The grasshopper knocked on the ant’s door and said, “I’m cold. I’m hungry. Can I have some food?” The ant scoffed and said, “bugger off, you lazy bum!” As he shut his door however, it wouldn’t close. The grasshopper had stuck his foot in it. Then the ant realized his head was in the gaping maw of the grasshopper, being crushed by green mandibles. It took merely eight seconds to fully devour the ant. The grasshopper lived happily ever after in a nice apartment, with a stockpile of food to get him through the Winter. The end.

He made me think. Made me ask questions, I loved the way his mind worked. I never understood why people warned me to stay away from him, he was broadening my mind, making me smarter, happier. And then one day, he just disappeared. He didn’t leave a letter like he’s said he would if he ever left. His house contained absolutely nothing. Not a trace of life, the times we had written on his walls, those had been erased. Everyone said that I should forget him, he had lied to me and was never coming back. I almost started to believe them, but that wasn’t the Peter I knew. After two months I finally found a letter, a novel sized letter, addressed to me in my cupboard. It was Peter’s handwriting but the pages were old and yellow.
