I remember when I was a kid, I used to have these weird half-dreams where there was a face sort of morphing out of the wallpaper right next to my bed. They were so vivid, that I can’t be entirely certain they were just dreams: they took place in a kind of halfway place.
I remember a lot of things. I remember things as far back as when I was two and a half years old. Many people I know don’t remember much of their childhood, but I do. Maybe because my life has known a lot of changes. Someone ones asked me if I had a bad youth, but that was not the case.
When you were a little kid and everything seemed wonderful and freeing. Life was so much easier and people always thought that you were so “Smart” and so “Strong”. No one ever talks to you that way now. They don’t praise you and tell you what a great job you did and how the most important thing is that you tried your best.
remember remember the fifth of november. i remember that line from the movie v for vendetta. remembering a movie line about remembering is kinda odd and cool in a way. it means that the line has an impact on you and is blatantly yet subtly direct to the point. does that make sense?
I remember Aunt Fannie quite well. Her wrinkled skin, her gray, all out there hair, her high pitched cackle. She terrorized us from the attic as she stomped about, letting us know she was still there.
We could never escape her, even when we were good. Always accursed to being an ugly old maid, she hated naughty children…
The last time I called you a doofus? I didn’t really mean it–you were just being stupid–and I couldn’t erase the mind vision of you falling on your face in the racquetball court–it’s just part of life–and being silly enough to wear those huge gray sweats that you play in.
There was never a smell so mesmerizing as apple cobbler. My grandmother never made it though. So that couldn’t have been it. My dad never tried to cook; he was too busy with my brother. So that’s not it either. Maybe it was that time
Remember things that made you what you are. Wherever you are now. Remember the people who always made you laugh. Remember the things that made you happy when you thought about them. Remember all the important things your parents did for you. Remember every time someone was nice to you. Remember all the bad things people did to you to be able to forget about it.
This word requires one to recall something that has happened. It could be something fun or at the other end of life’s spectrum. I hope that most of us recall the pleasant things in life most of the time, but still remember those lessons in life that will keep us safe.
Don’t you remember then? The time when we were everything? The only thing? We were together, and whole, and nothing else in the world mattered. The air was chill, the world was dark but beguiling,it was the most beautiful. The feeling, of emptiness and onliness. Calm. Peace. Cool.
I remember Nathan. But the memories are fading and that kills me. I want to remember everything, I NEED to remember everything about him. His smile and laugh could light up a room. His heart was almost too big. He knew the meaning of tolerance. Remember.
Remember when he said I love you? Remember how it felt? Remember how it was a lie? Remember how that felt. Remember that feeling and remember he he’s not worth it.
When all our tears have reached the sea
Part of you will live in me
Way down deep inside my heart
The days keep coming without fail
A new wind is gonna find your sail
Thats where your journey starts
Youll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me
Just like the waves down by the shore
Were gonna keep on coming back for more
cause we dont ever wanna stop
Out in this brave new world you seek
Oh the valleys and the peaks
And I can see you on the top
Youll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me
Remember me when youre out walkin
When the snow falls high outside your door
Late at night when youre not sleepin
And moonlight falls across your floor
When I cant hurt you anymore
Youll find better love
Strong as it ever was
Deep as the river runs
Warm as the morning sun
Please remember me
Please remember me
i wonder when the word changes; i have checked this website three times, did this word, and now I only get this word. ): i hope it changes, as it was quite fun to write about the word.
I remember random days in my early childhood, but I don’t have a solid memory of my friends and family during that time. It seems as if specific actions trigger these memories, but I’m no psychologist so I wouldn’t know.
To remeber is a blessing as well as a burden I wish to forget the bad days and to only remember the good ones. However, the bad days did change me in someway, whether it be to make me focus on the task at hand or to run awyua screaming a lesson was most always learned. So if we had no bad days how could we consider any day a “good” day?
I remember when rock was young.
I remember getting married. The time was perfect. I remember it like it was yesterday, Ian and I had no illness to think of and we were happy as pigs in shit! I remember high school. Plays, friends, singing, being me.
to put on socks in the morning, if not your toes will fall off. Otherwise, that wallet might also come in handy. Remember the day you didn’t have any money.
Remember the days when your wallpaper was brown, and everyone was singing along to Abba, they still do though.
it is a beautiful thing to have a memory. it’s the paper trail of our thoughts and actions. ok – you want a memory? I remember 5th grade, when my teacher – who was so cool – let us build a roller coaster and hang it up across the back of the classroom. we had our stamp on that place, and it made us better learners, I think. 5th grade was good.
This concealing sheet,
blanketing my feelings,
forcing me to remember,
but I was never taught,
It sticks like a shadow,
I never forgot,
this concealing reprise,
this revealing disguise,
how I wish I was who I was not…
I have trouble remembering the important things, like where I left [insert important object here] or when I have homework to do. But I remember a lot of unnecessary things, like passages from my favorite books, or funny things that my friends said, or song lyrics. I also have trouble remembering numbers.
I remember all the things that I’ve ever done in my life. I know that some of the things I’ve done have hurt others and myself, but they have made me into the person I am today. Without remembering all the things in my life, I wouldn’t be as well rounded as I am today. I love being able to think back through the story of my past and realize all the things I’ve done to make my life as it is now.
When I six years old, I went skiing with my mom and dad. I remember being lost on the slopes and not being able to find my parents. The funny thing about memory is that it isn’t always reliable because I also remember seeing them being eaten by the abominable snowman.
Remembering is one of the most amazing things, it can make you laugh about things that happened many years ago, it can make you feel like crying, it can make you happy for a whole day & it can make you feel like calling someone up. Remembering can change your life. But there is a dark side to it as well, there are things that are very painful to remember & sometimes its best that you leave them alone.
I remember being a little kid. Things were a lot simpler back then. I think that I would like to go back there some time. I really like thinking about then. I didn’t have any real problems, only whether or not I had chocolate milk or pink milk.

It was difficult to think that far back, but it was necessary.
“Remember”, the robotic voice announced again.
He clenched his teeth, balling his fists as he struggled to think in the cold of the room.
“I can’t!” His voice was tense, but the robotic voice simply repeated itself.
He leaned forward, thumping his forehead against the table, whispering quietly to himself, “I don’t want to…”
