Remembering is one of the most amazing things, it can make you laugh about things that happened many years ago, it can make you feel like crying, it can make you happy for a whole day & it can make you feel like calling someone up. Remembering can change your life. But there is a dark side to it as well, there are things that are very painful to remember & sometimes its best that you leave them alone.

I remember being a little kid. Things were a lot simpler back then. I think that I would like to go back there some time. I really like thinking about then. I didn’t have any real problems, only whether or not I had chocolate milk or pink milk.

When I six years old, I went skiing with my mom and dad. I remember being lost on the slopes and not being able to find my parents. The funny thing about memory is that it isn’t always reliable because I also remember seeing them being eaten by the abominable snowman.

I remember all the things that I’ve ever done in my life. I know that some of the things I’ve done have hurt others and myself, but they have made me into the person I am today. Without remembering all the things in my life, I wouldn’t be as well rounded as I am today. I love being able to think back through the story of my past and realize all the things I’ve done to make my life as it is now.

I have trouble remembering the important things, like where I left [insert important object here] or when I have homework to do. But I remember a lot of unnecessary things, like passages from my favorite books, or funny things that my friends said, or song lyrics. I also have trouble remembering numbers.
