Well revolting is when you want change in a system. Egypt has just revolted today and Mubarak has finally stepped down. This was inspired by the revolt of Tunisia. One of the most known revolutions was the French revolution where about 95% of the populatuion were living in poverty. But the poor and peasants gave peace, equality and liberty to the country.
In the night, the guns sounded, in the morning, the crowds cheered. Hurrah for Tahrir square, hurrah for the will of the people, hurrah for change through action.
As the sounds of exaltation rang out, there was at least one who stopped to think, “What now?” and at least a thousand other, less altruistic souls who held the answer, “We know.”
Ing indeed it is. I mean who would have thought that they would do that. I ask you? What is the bloody world coming to? Maybe it’s going from something but only time will tell us what is to become of the future. Fast forward tell us your secrets.

My stomach revolts against me every time I eat Mexican food. It’s like a band of banditos inside my intestinal system. They come in firing their guns, and don’t leave until they ride the mudslide all the way down.

Landed on your head when you fell from the roof of the corner convenience store. Not so convenient. Found some teeth and cigarette ashes between the sidewalk cracks. Take a look back. There’s an old man in the window, you’re wonderin if you know ‘im. No you don’t know. You don’t know. Gotta get up, fumble. Find the pickup truck. You don’t know. Oh fuck, you’re lost. Jab the shady-eyed man with your switch blade knife. He didn’t know, didn’t see you coming. Filtering like sand, his life. Out of the stab wound, gotta find a doctor soon. Gotta go find the pickup truck.

and you go careening down the hallway
bitching at walls and skidding around corners
falling down the stairs
mucking in the mud down there
wrecking the time as much as you can to feed the day its due
A dangerous proposition and not for the weak of heart as the feeling won’t leave. The sickening dread that drops from your head to your feet. We revolt against that which would grip our hearts and minds and in the middle divisively cleave.

So, revolt-ING, revolting, was how I regarded the revelation as. Why she decided to share this with me, I’ll never know, though I’ve decided in retrospect it’s because she was a small, vindictive person.
“I think about other people when we have sex. And not even good looking people. Ugly people I see in the street. I shut my eyes as tight as I can and I think about every grotesque detail I can remember about them.”
“Why do you do that?”
“Because I want you to feel how far away I am. Because I want you to know that I’m not there.”
