  6. a root. a root is that thing that takes something larger than itself and plants it into the ground, the soil – and instigator. roots grow in people, organizations, trees, other plants, and more. unfortunately not all roots are good – although most are beneficial. in people roots can be harmful: planting bad feelings and habits in others. in plants, they bring good health – but i suppose that’s the difference between people and plants.

  11. I stood there, rooted to the ground, praying desperately that he would say something, anything for God’s sake.
He took a step closer. “I… I love you,” he whispered. My heart froze. His eyes were gleaming, so bright that they almost looked white. “I love you, much more than I ever should. God knows how dangerous this could be,” he smiled faintly.
    “I… you… what?” I mumbled, stupidly.
My heart restarted, a million times faster than its usual pace, as he took another step closer and pressed his lips against my own.

  22. Roots are on trees. Trees bring life and life is to be appreciated. What if life doesn’t go your way? What if life is too hard? Should we give up? Should we push on? After all, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. It may come back and try again, but you’ve kicked it’s ass once, you can do it again. I feel like life is way too short to waste. Forget every fear and take a chance. You’ll regret not doing so. You may regret the outcome, but hey, you did it.

    by Anna on 08.01.2011

  27. The root of what? The root of all evil? If we’re talking about the root of all evil we must be talking about men. Seriously. Look at what men have done in the world…If they didn’t let women fight until recently, that means that it was men shooting other men, men creating war, men causing war, men declaring war, and MEN OPPRESSING WOMEN. Well I don’t need men. I don’t like men. Men are stupid.
