    “Don’t worry about it sweetie,” he whispered. “As long as I water you enough, you’ll be perfectly fine.”
    Sometimes I regret not understanding his words until it was too late.

  4. roots pulled up, my feet left the ground as i reached for the sky and i pulled and i pulled to detach myself from this unbearable feeling of being attached to earth. i loathed gravity for trying to keep me still. i wanted the sky, i wanted to float up and attach myself between the moon and the sun, to become a star, to be light as a cloud and laugh at the ant-sized people below.

  5. trees have roots. the things than wind under the grass and cement, disrupting foundations and structures. there are other kinds of roots too, ones that are formless. they are what you identify with, the things you remember from childhood. you can’t associate an image with them but you cam always see them in your mind.

  13. I like additional mathematics, and yea we learn about square roots. its kinda simple actually once u know how to do it, or if you have a calculator. in fact i think even my 3 year old neice can do it, just pressing buttons ya see? anyway back to roots.

  24. the root of the problem was the fact that i care to much about what people thing. find it extremely hard to do what comes natural. i constantly find myself first analyzing what someone would think if i did “this” or how it would make me look if i did “that” and the root to that was wanting to be accepted. My biggest mistake.
