The alcohol stings. It washes away the remanence of true character. Yet, here I am again, sacrificing myself to indulgence. Silly, silly me. It is the morning after that I feel the most influenced.
mom, saints, something you do for your kids, ugly feeling some times, needs to have love involved, you should only do it for ppl you love other ppl done appreciate it.
I don’t really like to have to sacrifice things. I realize that you have to, at times. Like now, for me. I have had to sacrifice my time with Leo so that we can have a better and more prosperous future. But it’s not easy and I miss him a lot. I hope he will get things figured out soon so this particular time of sacrifice will be over.

In history there have been some famous sacrifices, including many in the Bible.

I’ve never had to make extreme physical sacrifices. But my emotional ones have taken a heavy toll on my heart. They weigh tons in my chest, but are weightless in the air. So they drift away so easily, and I’m left shaking, knowing what I’ve just let go is big. It feels big. Big in my chest, big in my brain.
I will make whatever sacrifice you think will make me worthy to be at one with the stellar stardust as it falls from its celestial berth to the plebian village in which I dwell.

Sacrifice is the deepest sign of caring for something or someone else. It’s giving up a part of yourself for someone else. A purely selfless act. Real friends are the ones you’ll make sacrifices for. How many people do you know would rip off a chunk of themselves (metaphorically…I hope?) and give it to you?
To sacrifice, to go without, to give up in lieu of something for necessary. We no longer understand how to make sacrifices because we live in a world where we can have everything we want at any time.
