  1. The happiness shows
when you choose to feel it
    -it is a choice-
    I’ve only realized when it shows;
    [when I feel it].

    The ignorance shows-
    (when you choose
    to ignore it)

  2. Bring me the snow
The static lines, the white noise halo
Tighten the cable and hang it from the dish
Fo’sho noose man, when you kick the box away
    Be sure to repeat:
Got a demographic for every interest
Race, socioeconomic status, education level, and sex

  3. shows.i always spend to much time watching tv shows. I need o get out more, oh well at least I enjoy it

  4. I like shows.
    Any kind of shows.
Because people who can put out a show is different from me. They are another kind of species. Incredibly smart and have emotion control. I adore them.

  5. My life. There’s marching band, show choir, plays, musicals, choir, band… my life is a show. They’re like mini escapes from reality into what I like to think of as a dream.

  6. Shows illuminate the way we see life. This shows us an overexaggerated version of daily lives entertaining the audience in a way tedious normality is unable to do. Through the characters we are represented as a stereotyped niche allowing us to feel as though we are a part of a larger community.

  7. Lets put on a show
    No one will ever know
    When we’re upset
    It doesn’t show
    Powder your nose
    Paint your lips
Feet soon to be greeted by a rose
    If they enjoy the show
    ._.

  8. Wasted an hour on this contract job. But I am charging for it. I am bored out of my mind, not even the music helps. I’d rather be writing instead of playing around with databases and nitpicky file formats. Technophobes: how their fear shows. He’s paying me $30 an hour to do something he could teach himself if he’d just remove the veil. Self-sufficiency doesn’t have to be scary. The silly thing? After I set this up, I will still have to teach him to do it since I refuse to be at his beck and call to change rows and cells. Nope. You can’t pay me enough to do this again.

  9. I love shows, especially rock and roll shows. I miss going to them. I was thinking today that I miss seeing all the local musicians. I wish that I didn’t worry about all the drunk people, because I would go to more shows, but I no longer drink, so…

  10. Shows. Slowly. The deepness shows. I bleed a little and they notice, they draw over to me and speak words without feeling them while their eyes watch. A little red goes far and shows in the reflections of their eyes.

  11. Being a part of theatrical productions is purely a sexual experience, everyone is just all over each other. In his lap, on his face. Whatever. Sexual. Stage kissing. That sort of thing all the time. Theater kids like to make non-theater kids uncomfortable. It’s a lifestyle. And it’s hilarious. I’m not very good at it, since I’m a people-pleaser and am inherently turned off by making others uncomfortable. But I’ll take a good laugh wherever I can get one, so theater kids are the perfect casual friends.

  12. Shows. That rhymes with lows and rows.
People gathered at the daily shows to watch the rowers row row row.
Row row row your boat gently down the stream merrily merrily
Ring around the rosies a pocket full of
    Sunshine.
Ashes ashes we all fall down.

  13. Shows. Shows are my life. They pull at my heartstrings, silently resting beneath the piles of hatred and fear. They teach simple emotions. The man dies, so cry. Feign your tears are about that man and let these tears pour. Convince yourself that you are this man, losing your life when you have lost nothing. Feign your pain.

  14. I have an obsession with TV. I watch thedumbest shows. Sometimes I am too ashamed of the nonsense I watch to tell people I like to watch Gossip Girl or 90210. I feel like I should watch “classy” shows like Doctor Who or Downton Abby. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

    by mariah on 12.27.2012
  15. Shows are vacant spaces. We sit, riveted in our seats, blinding ourselves to the desperation on the performer’s face. This is my job. This is my life. I am dedicated every move towards this moment where I leap and hope these voyeurs applaud. It rests on me. On my shoulders.

    by Katy on 12.27.2012
  16. The violin’s shrill note broke the silence between him and the audience. He moved with elegant grace as he played, feet moving and dancing as his fingers played the notes and his body spun. The song was high and fast, and he moved to keep with the beat. The audience was purely captivated.

  18. I really like most of the shows I’ve seen. Some of them are funny, while others aren’t. I used to want to be on a broadway show, or TV show, but I’m just not that into it anymore. I wish to be an interior designer, maybe I can get a show doing that? Haha ;) Good plan.

  19. shows are amazing, like broadway shows, i mean so much passion is thrown into them, so much skill ya know? and not to mention television shows, that encompass so much in so little time, but then extend over years and years with new seasons and new characters and new plots and their plot twists, with villains and love and humor and grief and sadness. i love shows, i love them to death. they’re amazing and my favorite show as of now is Supernatural.

  20. Shows? I’m taking this in the directions of concerts just because. The Bon Iver concert will probably be the best day of my life no matter what which is sad but i mean at-least i get to see them live before I die which is what I wanted.

  21. It shows when you’re happy. They don’t see it. But I do. It’s the small crinkle at the side of your eyes. It’s the gleam that shines a little bit brighter. It’s the way you wrinkle your nose when you laugh. It’s the way you sit up a little bit straighter.

She may not see it. She may not even bring out your happiness. But I do.

  22. There were to be 31 shows. I couldn’t believe my luck. After all this time, all the work, all the effort, all the blood, sweat and tears were finally paying off. Not only this! The critisc actually liked my show! for the month of March 1988 I was on top of the world! nothing could bring me down. Or so I thought! By 3rd April, I was hospitalised with a rare tropical bug. I was vomiting and when I wasn’t vomiting, I was dry heaving.

  25. I think about how one can show their feelings for another but only says their feelings. But when showing feelings its more believable and less heart shattering…

  26. SHow and tell at my elementary school was amazing! I alwasys wanted something special to show to get it across that I was the best. KInda like facebook. Facebook is a giant show and tell! Life is like that. No matter how big you get, it always goes back to kindergarten. I wish I could feel as pleased.

  27. Everyone shows his best everyday, I don’t know if they do it to impress others or just to be more complete in their lifes.

    by Juan on 12.27.2012
  28. The room flashed with fickle red and blue lights, lighting up the glitter that covered every inch of the walls. After nearly three hours, the shows were finally coming to an end, and I was eternally grateful. I had seen enough of Las Vegas’s sorry excuse for “entertainment” to last me a lifetime.

  29. sometimes when i’m bored i watch a lot of tv shows. these shows show me life from multiple perspectives.

  30. The types of television shows that Nicholas watched were not deemed appropriate by his mother. She preferred that he watch various Broadway show spin=offs and high class television. Nicholas preferred shows that were raunchier and later at night.

  35. “It shows you know.” France mentioned casually.
England startled. “What shows?” he asked incredulous.
France gave him a flat look. “That you are hiding something, England”

  36. shows are a constant entertainment these days for all age groups….they have really widened the scope of television and cinema..the show stars are more popular than the film stars…people of all age groups are more fans of the actors of show series than the movies!!

  37. I don’t know anything about the new shows on television. I spend entirely too much time trying to make it on Broadway. My dance teacher says I don’t have what it takes, but I’ll show her. It’s not like she;s on the Great White Way either.

  38. The fireworks this year are all across the street. From my seat by the window I can see it. House all lit up, animated figures pacing back and forth with dramatic, angry gestures which surely can’t mean anything good and should they really be saying that kind of stuff to their very own family members who they supposedly love? The volume is pretty spectacular as well. There’s a reason I celebrate my holidays alone.

  39. In the amount of time I spent counting the money, I could have taken 5 times that much at the shows.

  40. When he looks at me grinning and his eyes proud and unblinking, his desire for a kiss shows as clearly as the night air.
