The silky smooth caress of your skin is something I could never forget. I will never willingly let it go.

The trading post was filled with various fine silks, but none were of interest to Aloysius. He was there not for the more aesthetically pleasing varieties, but for the single scrap of enchanted cloth that was arranged to have been present there. It was a small piece of silk, of a faint purple color, and glowing with a barely perceptible paleness.

Fine and slender;smooth and sacred. The fabric lingered on her body only caressing the contours of her body. I couldn’t help but fall in love with her that day.

silk is beautiful and soft, its made by worms and i think it is the most gorgeous feeling fabric. in china it is often used in pretty dresses with dragons on them, and the women look so lovely in them. i beieve that nature must be pretty amazing to be able to create such an amazing thing, i see this as proof of god, because how would anthing be able to create such an amazing creature?

Silk is so soft. I love the way it feels as it softly swishes across my skin. Sheets are the best. Even better, pants. Silk pants. The kind that come in a set for pajamas. But not the shirt. Everyone knows the pants are better. Oh yes. The soft soft pants.

Silk, obviously, is a material. Made by silkworms. Weird, that. I’m so conditioned to thinking that fabrics come from plants that the fact that something I wear was more or less pooped out by a little worm is pretty alien.
By Alex on 08.23.2011
I don’t know if I’ve ever really felt genuine silk. I mean, how does one tell the difference between silk and satin? Satin is simply a less luxurious silk, right? Silk is meant to be worn by princesses and queens; I’m just a mere girl.

Ah, silky smooth that my pillow of mine.
I could just instantly fall asle-Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

soft fabric caressing skin sliding over mounds of flesh that burn with regret covering up the sins of hours sweetly but still with harsh judging commentary that silently burns away at you as you sneak back to your own bed

The fabric rippled beneath her fingertips, seeming to create a wave of crimson. It was the finest thing she had ever touched in her entire life….and it would fetch her a great price on the market. With deft hands, she plucked the material and slid it into her satchel. She walked away just fast enough not to be noticed, but quick enough to get out of the merchants sight. She was at least half a block away when she heard his angry bellows. She smiled, that is what it took to be a master thief in Andel.

The feel of her silken skin under his fingertips made him wish the moment would never end.. But opening his eyes and seeing her face bathed in the first rays of beautiful sunlight of the autumn sunrise made his heart ache, as he knew that no matter what he did she could never really be his.

Silky, milky, soft to the touch
The smell of your hair, I miss it so much
As I sit here alone, dried up like the cotton
You’re on with your new one, I’m forever forgotten

silk…. soft, sexy, unpredictable material or a word to describe a smooth but easy unlike anything you touched before… describes love, exoticness and simplicity a wonder material if you think about it and yet silk can cause static and small electric shocks on bodies in a way it can be related to life were life is easy but exotic, simple but unpredictable yet it always finds a way to shock you in unwanted places.

the silk of her skin was just what I needed to heal. I could remember my childhood, and brushing against the silk skirts of the women at the market place, their soft folds mixing with the exciting and tempting scents of the market. I could only think of health and healing when I touched that skin.

every few hours your footfalls echoed off the ceilings and i knew
to play dead. the sheets creased in all the right places,
arranged like the lining of a casket.
under the silence my steady heartbeats guided you away,
still. i asked
if you walked any further would i not be
invisible to you?
then softly, but not unkindly,

Very smooth, used from the silk or worms, Reminds me of China. Difficult to keep clea n and always has to be drycleaned. Looks nice but depends on your body type. Expensive but very pretty, delicate.
By Courtney Anderson on 08.23.2011
heavy, soft, smooth. a very present fabric when your wearing it u can always feel it. it never leaves your mind it stays and though clining to your thoughts making you feel more regal and important. When the silk came through the wall, I had to eat a shape shifting thread of soft tones and bring it back to my thoughts on world affairs. Like a daisy falling from the truck on the highway. We looked at it in a blank though

Silk like her hair was. Silk like the sheets. Silk like her sliding into my life and oh so swiftly out again. Gone in a breeze. A silk rag on a breeze.

it’s soft. it reminds me of milk that nourishes us with it’s perfection and grace. it’s like skin, but perfect, smooth, clean, and gorgeous.
By Michelle Larva on 08.23.2011
It was like warm ice slipping through my fingers, it’s shine caught my eye like an ocean dancing silently against the horizon. It’s weight was nonexistant in my hands I thought if I let go it would simply stop existing all otgether. The details in the fabric were perfect, no flaw could be seen as I laid it out on the table, being careful not to let it catch on the rough wooden surface.

smooth.silky.smart.soft.chinese. it makes me want to do something nice for someone. Silk is usually a bright color. I like silk but I get sick of the feel of it after a couple minutes. Overall I like silk.
By Randi on 08.23.2011
I love when it touches the soft spots of my skin. It feels as if love and light and happiness have just grazed my senses, and everything is beautiful. Is that crazy? No. No it is not. Silk is beauty.

silk. an unusual material running against her body… its almost to good to be true as it holds her, comforts her, eases her, oohh how i long to be that silk.
to feel her velvet skin, to smell her luscious body… or even to be silk’s friend just so he can tell me all the details i want.
yes, its a strange thought that i myself am bewildered to have, but i will never forget the day i envied silk.
By szayed on 08.23.2011
It’s a silk running river all blue and shining and rippling in the sunlight. It’s a clear picture; the sky is so pale it’s almost white and the clouds are wisps, babies’ breaths on an open canvas that stretches above us. I’m holding your hand. We’re lying in the grass that’s lush as velvet. We’ve got stitched smiles. We’ve got glass buttons for eyes. We’re perfect as porcelain dolls.

I have a silk scarf that I like to wear all over the place. This silk scarf makes me feel like a princess for gosh sakes. I love its white texture and how it makes me feel all soft and warm and pretty at the same time. SO I have more then one in my house and I hope you get a silk scarf too. I love it more than anything. I love it all the time. I love it more then cheese. I don’t think that you understand the severity of how much this scarf means to me. I plan on one day leaving this beautiful scarf to my children. It belonged to my Grandmother and she had it before from her mother. I mean this is an old silk scarf and maybe one day I can sell it for a lot of money. Hah. I am just kidding. I just joke a lot of my silk scarf.

Beautiful. The way that I feel when I am close to the person I love. Under the covers, my blankets. My favorite bra and underwear. Soft, butterfly. Feeling refreshed, revitalized, and cool.
