  2. searching for inspiration
    i see your smile
it pops up into my brain
streaming through the holes of what was yesterdays pain
and i think that the clarity of your smile
    will solve my problems
my head snaps out of the thoughts of your smile.

  3. A showing of true happiness, right? Wrong. For sometimes those with the brightest smiles are the most broken. A smile is a facade in society to avoid the question of ‘what’s wrong?’
Don’t believe every smile you see.

  4. Every time I see you smile, it lights up my world. It makes me so happy that something thrills you so much that you can smile. It lets me know that you’re not sad. Some may say that a smile is overrated, but I think just the opposite. It says that you enjoy life, that something good is happening, that you’re focused and content.

  5. It only takes one to save a life, or brighten someones day. Just because you’re having a bad day doesn’t mean you can’t take one second to smile at someone. For me it’s like giving them a gift. Helping brighten their day so they can go on and brighten others days.

But a frown is just a smile upside down right?

  8. what happiness looks like.

  11. i have a bright smile
    that’s what people tell me
i used to not like the wide gaping chasm of my smile
the imperceptible gap between my two front teeth
the way my eyes squint shut
    my cheeks shine
    pink delicious apples
    full of sheen
    i used to not like
the half moons beneath my eyes
    you convinced me otherwise.

  14. His smile stole across his face, as he struggled to not laugh at my ridiculous expression. He bit his bottom lip, which just forced me to control the urge to lean over and bite it for him. My eyes lingered as his dimples jumped out from his cheeks and I knew in that instant, he was all I ever wanted.

  15. Just smile.

That’s what you tell yourself. Just smile away all of the hurt and the pain and pretend like everything’s all right again.

Just smile. Don’t let them see behind your walls, the barrier that you’ve built up so well.

  21. His smile is like air. I don’t know how it just is, it’s light and flowy and sometimes a little humid. Plus it makes his eyes look like stars, twinkling above the moon. How do I come up with this stuff, a little bird in my head must be pecking at my brain and making it spit out garbage like airy smiles, but really. He’s just so wonderful.

  25. It crept in. I didn’t mean to let it show. But it did. After months of long distance phone calls It crept in. Maybe it had been there in every smile and laugh but this time she saw it. I had meant to hold off till the perfect time, and apparently that was now. In a smile, “I love you” crept in and she saw it and smiled back.

  26. his dazzling white teeth flashed in a devilish grin. Everybody at the table showed signs of exasperation; from eye-rolls to sighs of annoyance. But that was how it always was with him. It only took one whisper of an idea, the threat of an interesting thought, and he’d be off. Countless were the times when they’d allowed him to cajole them into something completely stupid and ridiculously complex which would, almost invariably, land them in the county jail.

  27. Misaki smiled distractedly, continuing to color in the borders of her elaborate sketch. She was utterly bored with Saito’s love confession. The boy was dull, bland, predictable in every way possible and too conventionally good-looking to capture her interest. When he had finally stammered to an end, she looked up.

  28. started to smile as soon I saw the word. Smile is a beautiful thing and that is what I look for in people. If people smile I love them. I wanna be around them. People who smile can give you joy. It´s hard to write more about smile without thinking. It just makes me happy! =)

  29. S-M-I-L-E. A five letter, two syllable word that could be right side up and upside down. Misinterpreted, misread, understood, taken for granted, missed. Share it.

  36. It’s that scrunchy fuzzy feeling, when he reciprocates or compliments you, you hanging on his every word, hearing words you’re desperate to hear slip from those much pondered lips, your stomach flips, and you want to spill it all out but resist, I adore him because he makes me smile like this XD

  37. It puts a smile on my face whenever I notice that you put some thought into what you were saying to me. To know that you think of me all on your own, without my input. I don’t need to call you everyday or make my presence known because there is a smile on your face too; I know because I put it there.

  38. when i think about her, i think about the way she laughs, the way she looks at the world. it’s so incredibly inspiring to see her smile. i don’t think it’ll ever get old. if there’s one thing i wish, it would be to see that smile every single day. to wake up and to look at her. and if i could, i would tell her i love her and just hope that deep down, that would make her smile, too.

  40. Laughing is great. Smiling is inspirational to some people. It can make a person’s day when they see you smile. Not because it’s that beautiful, but because you exude happiness. Smiles can be fake, but the best smiles come from the heart, and you can tell when someone smiles from their heart.
