Standing in the spotlight, in front of everyone, I wonder what it is I want to say. Do I tell them what i did? What I went through to get here. Do i tell them how his skin felt the last time i touched him? Do i tell them, how much i loved him as i cut his throat. I don’t. I just smile and say “Im breanna, im addicted.”
When it all falls down, you build it back up. It falls around you and this is going to happen no matter what. Life is riddled with jumping crickets. The snow does fall in the summer and hurricanes can destroy mountains. You must rebuild. You are in the spotlight.
I once saw an amazing spotlight. It was rainbow-colored. Once upon a time, I was born. Ever since, I’ve had a fanscination with lights. They amaze me! They remind me of many things as well.
