She sucked slowly on the straw, slurping the last dregs of a chocolate milkshake into her mouth with a satisfying murmur.
Her cherry red lips were briefly wetted by a thin tongue that lapped at the end in a tantalising swirl of enjoyment.
Staw dogs are the things that are simply created to be destroyed. I really like the something Corporate song called “Straw Dog” but I also like the JAck’s Mannequin song called Last Straw. I liked bendy straws when I was a little kid. I used to connct them all together and make a super mega straw.
Hum… Straw… well, fresh juice. Passion Fruit juice, no sugar. White refined sugar has not nutritional value. Why would you keep adding that empty thing to your life. Not really empty? Well just saying.
On this very day, I wrote a quite intriguing entry about a straw, on this very website. It was delightful, but where is it now? Never to be seen again. The universe ate it. Or maybe it decided that it would drink it. I hope the universe was able to get a straw with that.
A straw is something that you can drink through. it’s fun to think that you can make things out of a straw. Straw has two different meanings. It can be a device used to suck liquid and a piece of dry hay. Straw can be used to be creative and make a scarecrow or it can be used as a decoration
The straw that is so fine that could save me from sucking up brine, in the summers heat the ice is cool and serves me the sweet liquid that flow through giving me eternal quench and saves me from the sweltering heat that beams down upon my back stinging rays that never forgive, this straw will bring salvation and help us all because this summer is so damn hot.
I would love a straw hat. To sit outside in it and drink lemonade on a sunny day by the ocean. Or in the ocean. I imagine it would feel exquisite to hold the brim down on the top of my head in the breeze while I throw my head back in laughter. Surely this is Happiness.
As a farm girl, I’ve been around straw for pretty much my entire life. I’ve climbed all over straw bales and built forts with my sister; we’ve helped roll out straw bales for the cattle.
That was the last straw. Astor looked up, his eyes dangerous, no trace of a smile anywhere on his face. He looked older. And he looked much, much more powerful.
“You have tortured me,” he said in a low voice. “I might have let you get away with that. But then you chose to hurt the people I love. You tried to kill my best friend, and you succeeded in killing the woman I loved. You have officially made me /very/ angry. And you won’t be glad you did.”
straws are the most peculiiar things. they come in many colors shapes sizes and can be quite useful for a variety of things. If i were a straw i would want to be pink. or purple. id want to be curvy and bendy all at once.
I pulled it. The short straw. I glanced up at the man, whose teeth gleamed in a wide, toothy smile. A chill ran through me, even colder than the cabin we were occupying. “Guess you won’t be eating dinner tonight,” he chuckled.
She woke up with straw stuck to her cheek
The sleep straggling round her smile
The skirt hitched up, creased and smudged
Where steady sweating hands had held, then
heaved to get, like an artist, the right angle
a yellow straw, in my milk. it makes it tase sweet, i dont know why. my mom says that i shouldnt eat straw, it will give me fungus in my mouth, but i dont really care, with milk it tastes so sweet, i love it
Straws are an interesting invention. Magically when the milky substance is transferred to your mouth your taste buds scream with excitement. What could be better than a pinstriped straw?
The sound of him slurping his pepsi through the straw irritated the hell out of her. It was her birthday and he decided to splurge and take her to Olive Garden to celebrate. The fact that she wasn’t fond of faux Italian food had not fazed him. After ten years together everything he did annoyed the hell out of her. Some mornings the very sight of him sickened her to her stomach.
This was the last straw. First, it had been the three pubescent boys stealing potato chips from the deli area. Then, it was a middle-aged woman opening a cupcake container just to eat one of the chocolate puffed pastries. And now, two giggly high school girls were opening up cans of soda and drinking them.
The security guard had no choice. He had to save the day.
She slowly sipped on the straw and looked up at him. She wondered why a boy like him would be out with a girl like her. Most of the time she kept to herself, quietly getting things done without being noticed. Nevertheless across from her sat the most handsome boy she had ever laid eyes on. His eyes were a milky brown, and they did nothing but stare right back. His crooked smile had been making appearances all night, but this time there was something different, something she couldn’t help but notice
The stalls are strewn with it: a prickly gold plucked from the fields stretching out to the horizon. It is a sweet-smelling blanket stretched out from wall to wall.
There once was a crimson red straw perched inside a lovely brown cola drink. He hated his life because he hated cola. And all day long he’d be sucked upon my a bulldog-drool mouth. So one day he jumped in the trash can and died
I was sitting at my restaurant drinking a Watermelon Margarita when all of a sudden I felt the earth beneath me move. No, i wasn’t an earthquake. It was love. I fell in love over a watermelon margarita with a straw on a summer afternoon. And that my friends is how the story goes. Love happens upon you when you least expect it.
i had a straw on my lemonade, it was red with white stripes. I would like it to be bigger, like those tappioca straws, anyway.
I dont know what to write about straws, its kinda difficult.
My mom wants me to get a farm job. I think it would be a great experience, but honestly I’m not unhappy with the job I have now. It pays pretty well, probably better than a farm job. The only downside is that my shifts start at 5 and end between 12 and 1 in the morning which kind of takes away from my nightlife.
As she looked at me from the end of the counter, she let go of her straw, set down the milkshake, and walked my way, saying nothing except in her quiet footsteps.
Itchy, hard and sticking me in the back, Why did I think that laying in the hay loft would be a good idea? It smells like pee.. But he is here. So that makes it all worth it right?
I don’t know these things are weird but I love them, they suck and stuff and I guess it’slike a comfort to me I feel better when I use a straw compared to no straw and all that but I really like sippy cups becaaus I feel like I’m little again and like everything is ok and I’m not broken and dying and that maybe just maybe, I’ll have a future
feeling like a tublikebeing, with no hope, no strength, just a hallow heart. Barely any shape, nor complexity, im simple. just how i was made to be. sometimes i wonder if Im ever going to mold into what I want to be
I love straws, that might be because I am so used to making messes, especially when it comes to myself, my life, and straws are that little extra help that I just need to be even the littlest bit classy. Don’t ever underestimate what one simple thing can do. Everything has a purpose and all them make you better, sometimes just to know what that purpose is helps in ways you don’t even know.
