You use these to drink. They allow you to enjoy a drink without using your wrist. It’s a nice invention. It it also used to refer to hay. I’m not much of a farmer so I can’t really tell you much

straws are sometimes flexible, sometimes their rigid. But, the thing about a straw that never ceases to amaze me.. Is the fact that it always gets the job done! If you need to transfer fluids from the cup to your mouth, the straw is the instrument to use, plain and simple… Straws never fail!

Whenever I get a straw, Miles knows it. He loves to play with straws so I just get him his own. It’s a bonus if I dip it in the chocolate milk first though. MMMMM! says the cat.

i use it when i drink something. it makes everything easier & more enjoyable. you take more time drinking somehting so therefor. its better (: its better when its bendable & kids love the ones with little twirls around them.

i leaned back into the straw, expecting it’s tuftiness to catch me with dream-like slowness, cushioning my fall. instead, i just felt it scratch the back of my neck and poke the palms of my hands like needles

yellow. grassy yellow fiber. sticks my finger. or there’s the drinking kind…stiff hollow plastic tube, sometimes with a flexible neck…those are handy sometimes but just annoying at other times. they usually have colored stripes on two sides, but if they main color isn’t white, it will usually be pretty plain. straws. hmm.

I like to use these to not touch the top of my cup or bottle. sometimes its just disgusting. but these things can also be bendy, i like bendy ones the best. even if that sounded terribly perverted. anyway, straws are amazing.

straw like her hair, brittle and faint.
the smell of it, earthy and raw
fills my nostrils to brim
my breath gone
memory flows in like the rushing tide
angry and soft

An unmistakable, curly, blond HAIR. The last straw, literally and figuratively. The cheating, I found, had very little to do with me, and very much to do with his own pathological arrogance. A true spoiled brat who was never denied anything…why should he have denied anything to himself?

Straw. Straw for drinking a beverage, or straw in the farm? It can be yellow if it’s the farm type. I love drinking with straws, though. Drinking milk and juice. Yummy. And there’s also the horses and cows eating straw. I can picture both, actually. That’s all I can say.
By siba on 07.11.2011
bendy, sometimes has stripes. its the beginning of strawberry. its weird to put a straw in a bottle. you can find straw in a scare crow i think? or is that hay … i dont really know. owell. straw.

It was the last straw.
Not literally, of course. But Howl had had enough with Sophie and her pestering ways. “Why don’t you keep your house tidy?” “Can you pick up those books?” “Why are you so mean?”
Howl would have nothing of it anymore. He stood up from his chair, slamming it back with such a force it hit the wall behind him, and stormed off into the stairwell.
Sophie, flustered, pondered, “I just asked him to pass the butter…”

I decided to go out today and buy a drink at Chic fil A. However, when I ordered that drink they forgot my straw, which is undoubtedly an ongoing thing. How did people back then drink without a straw. Certainly it was more difficult. Straws make everything easier.

I grabbed my straw and pulled it into my mouth. I isn’t know what to say. He’s so cute what if I say the wrong thing? But I look stupid just siting here with my straw in my mouth. Ugh. First dates are always so awkward

straw, there are two different kinds of straws. the ones you drink from and the ones used for animal bedding. the one used for animal bedding is itchy and horrible to sit on, it pokes you in all the wrong places. straws for drinking on the other hand are the best thing ever, i love straws, specially crazy straws they come in different colors and just feel right to use. i love straw.

He lifted the straw from my hair with a wide smile on his face. I giggled as he flicked it away and pounced for another wild kiss in the hay.

I’m a server at First Watch (a breakfast and lunch cafe). I realized the other day that hardly any men use the straws that I set down on their table, though most to all women do. Why is that?

His hair was soft, wavy, yet the color of fresh straw…somehow, the color belied the beautiful texture of it. I took the chance, and ran one hand through it, languorously, enjoying it for myself alone.

He took her to the barn to feed the horses. Their tawny manes tossed in the dry air of the arid barn. She fed his horse daisies. He tenderly gazed at her eyes squinting in a smile as the horse nudged her palm. He slowly took the daisies from her hands and brushed aside a strand of flaxen curls. His lips discovered hers and they soon found themselves warm in the straw that matched her hair.

i saw the straw on the table. just sitting there, helpless. it couldn’t move on its own, and the stationary person that was sitting aside of it didn’t feel the need to pick it up. instead, it sipped his coffee without it, touching his lip to the lip of the cup. now, he has herpes. he could’ve had that taken care of with the twist of his wrist, to put the straw in his mug. maybe one day he’ll learn.
By volleygirl17 URL on 07.11.2011
I was lying on my back in the barn, feeling the prickling of the straw, a growing itch in the heat. That coupled with the smell of the horses, comforted me in a strange way. The sameness of it all, day by day.

I drink with a straw. Straw can be like hay. Strawberries are good. Straw hats look comfortable. Twisty straws are fun. The straw that broke the camel’s back. That was the last straw! Strawberry blonde are reddish, but mostly blonde.

i’ve seen people ordering plain water, and then asking for a straw to drink it with. i always wonder – why do they do that? it’s just water! are they so afraid to press their lips against a glass/ cup which others have pressed their lips to? Germ-phobic.

i fell back, in slo-mo, it almost seemed. the straw was everywhere: flying skyward, outward, downward. the chickens scattered, as did my brains. but the straw broke my fall, and i always come back to it. i love that big, blue sky.

I think of a farm and the smell of it. Bugs can live in it but seeing hay bells filled with them is a source of comfort to me. I think of Fall and Hay rides with pumpkin picking. It’s funny how I keep saying hay instead of straw…is it a southern thing? Maybe…they’re the same thing though. I love that it reminds me of fall.

A head of pale straw-colored hair was the first thing Arthur noticed about the boy walking towards him. The second thing he noticed was the wide grin that never faltered. He decided that blonde had never looked as good as it did right then.

something to drink out of and something to keep you warm also a food source for animals. You can burn it for heat and store it for stuffing things and making beds. straw is many things and has many uses. my favorite thing may be using straws for fangs! straw could also be a color.
