  1. I need the strength to start eating again. Falling…I’ve been falling, spiraling, into the depths of starvation, loosing all my strength to pick myself up and carry on, slumping and trudging along with the weight of the world upon my back, watching silently, helplessly, as my tears drop to the ground. But I cannot think of anything else.

  5. I had to have strength. I knew that once i told him there was no way anyone could trust me anymore. But i did it not for me but to save them because without me there is no way they could have stayed in the country any longer. So i took a deep breath gathered my strength and told the truth.

  8. Everyday takes more and more strength. It gets harder. I try to move on and be pain-free, but it seems like everyday something happens that stabs me in the side, and every stab gets deeper and deeper. I feel as though I am collapsing. I need more strength.

  14. hard for me, doesnt come easy. sometimes we need it in order to help others. helped me through my fathers death. cant have too much of it and cant have too litte. something that will help you mentally nad physically face everything you need to in this world. people who dotn care about what other say

  23. strength is something we all hope for. The strength to deal with comes next, we never know what comes but it will test us, our resolve our strength. It it ourselves we must rely on in the end, not gods, or kings, or country.

Strength is something we all possess, though it manifests itself differently to all of us. Strength is what keeps us going, and is what we gain from every negative experience of our lives.   26. But I have no upper body strength. Absolutely none. But a lot of the times, I can actually lift whatever I please. But that’s only cool because my parents can’t lift what I’m lifting, but then, they’re 60.

  29. Strength is not about being physically strong. i think too many people, especially men, try to overcompensate in their lives by lifting weights and bulking up. That is not what strength is. I think strength comes from experience. Strength comes from taking risks, and coming out of the other side.

They are the most pretentious topics I can ever think of. “What’s your biggest strength?” “List your three strengths.” Human beings are made of weaknesses and failures, and that’s a beautiful part of life. We know what we are capable of and what our limits are. Why do we need to boast to the world about some superficial excuses to feel good about ourselves?
