  1. he was running down the hill. everyone was watching him. he knew he had to pull it off. he didnt have a choice. he saw the gap coming up. he was so scared. just like every time that he did it. but this was different. people were watching. he always gets so nervous when people were watching, and when he is nervous, he screws up. big time. the only difference in this is if he screws up now theres no getting up and trying again. he could die. he doesnt know where the whole goes, how deep it is, what i s at the bottom.he was so scared but it was too late now. he was almost upon it. he tensed up his muscles prepared to jump and almost there… bam! he was up in the air, flying. he closed his eyes for a second, and then opened them right before he hit the big air bed. he tucked and rolled so he wouldnt hurt himself. he finally got a hold of himself. he could hear a dull roar. it was people yelling and screaming for him! he did it! he couldnt believe it.

She had way of making him beleive he deserd more out of life. He haad somethign to live for, somethign imporant to accomplish in the worlld and with this life. And now here he was standing on the verge of the end of it all… contemplating this one crazy stunt. And why? FOr some blonde with big and and an even bigger chest? Crazy.

  6. i am a stunt double and am very good at my job. nothing is too intense or too frightening for me to accomplish. i do fire stunts, jump stunts, car stunts, anything. i love what i do and will continue to do it until the day i die, and if that day just happens to be a working day, then so be it. After all, what better way to die than to die doing what i love?

  9. he jumped of the cliff, twisting and turning in the air. His wings were a dark black and took the form of a bat’s wings just before he hit the ground. I had never seen such a being like him. All the stories about demons were wrong. They’re not evil they’re beautiful.

  11. The man pulled his last stunt. He had pulled several of them in his lifetime, all of which weren’t very life threatening. A hack here, a pickpocket there. This time though, was much different. He had picked the wrong pocket, and had paid dearly for it.

  12. makes me think of 70s macho guys who used to drive cars over 70 barrels of oil on tv, and teens with feathered hair on their skateboards and kids doing popping wheelies on their bikes

he said, unprovoked; breaking the entire planet’s human population’s almost hour long silence. On screens and in the skies, we then watched that alien close his craft’s doors and them blast back into space in their millions. It’s now day 687 and they have yet to return. Our condolences to Cody Hunt the Big Man of Stunt’s bereaved 4th & 5th wives, Jody & Jodie.

  15. A stunt is pretty freaking cool. It’s impulsive, crazy, and exactly what you should take part in if you really feel like drawing attention on a busy street corner. So go ahead, shoot something, ride a bike through a hoop, whatever. You’ll be a legend forever.

  16. Stunts pulled.
Why would you do such a thing?
Break my heart, was I just a stunt, a joke to you?
How could you make me sit in the rain
    Alone
    Scared
    Tired
    And Cold.
    Life is hard
Don’t pull stunts and make life harder.

  19. I am a stunt man. I nearly died yesterday. They wanted me to jump off a cliff into the ocean but I’m afraid of heights. Yep. I am a stunt man who is afraid of heights. Talk about a life challenge. So, how does a stunt man overcome his fear of heights? Jumping from a cliff into the ocean.

  20. Times like these make me feel like I need to have the same things everyone else has. Even when I don’t want these things, I feel like I should have them to be more accepted and liked. Getting a job would solve this, I’m sure but whether I’m good at anything or will be accepted to work at certain facilities. I should just be a stunt devil. Nothing like being poor and daring.

  22. Right before the bar, she stood hesitantly. The roar of the crowd faded into the background. It was only her, no one else. She took a deep breath, and leaped foward in a movement that was fluid and practiced. Could she pull this stunt off?

    by Emily McNally on 05.26.2012
  23. What is a stunt? Some graceful jump into the air, flying and twisting? A call for attention? It is these acts that define us.

    by Emma on 05.26.2012
  24. A stunt will be the end of me, but if I play it to safe I’ll never live on the edge. And living on the edge is what makes people really live. A stunt will bring me to pain or success but either way, I’ve lived, so I won.

  25. stunt doubles in movies would be a hard job. being so close to all those famous people and never getting to actually meet them. just getting hurt. eh. i wouldnt do it

  26. i think those are scary but cool. like the people who do the stunts dont get credit for the amazing actions they preform. the iold people who do them must hurt and i always see like caves and dunes and dirt when i think of stunts. but omstly in movies. that a lot of work though, dont they get hurt often? I dont really think that we should have stunt devils

  27. There were alot of stunts I pulled in my youth. By youth, I mean last summer. I had alot of fun but at expense. I lived it up quickly, got over that phase, and now I retired from it. It was really stupid I made alot of mistakes, but regret nothing because it made me who I am now

  28. Every actor one time or another will do a stunt, it doesnt matter if its a big budget film or even a tiny little stage.

  29. He tried to do it, but it didn’t work out. He knew that it would be dangerous, but his cocky attitude followed him everywhere, and his fear was overcome; he would try it. He didn’t survive the stunt, but he got what he wanted — he’ll be remembered for it.

  30. She stood at the edge of the roof, her toes curled around the edge. Never so afraid, never so alive. He had said she would be too scared, too fixed in her own fear to do it, but here she was, just the gutter between her and the pavement. Holding her hands out for balance, she breathed deep and shakily. And for a moment, the stunt transformed her into a shimmer in the sunlight, and she felt nothing but the pulse of her life in her stomach. It clung to her ribs, forever changed long after she had climbed back to the peak to lay on the shingles.

  31. She wrote the script for the stunt
    and felt please for herself
The accomplishment felt great for those few seconds
yet she did not think anyone would think anything great of it

  32. there are many things out there that are just considered stunts. there’s stuntment and then there’s actual movie stunts. the ones that we seem to dislike the most though are the ones people pull against others. I guess you could say that it’s sort of a prank or a ploy for attention. It’s really disheartening when people do something that’s a huge stunt against others. For example, my girlfriend’s ex pretended to have committed suicide, that’d be considered a stunt. A really cruel one. I don’t know if I like stunts. Oh well.

    by Jahat on 05.26.2012
  33. stunt, ripped blue paper that was the sky. cotton glue clouds broken. a leap through the air and the fake air too, a quick sharp tear. And then a feeling of wonder, “How and why can I be so stupid?”

  34. Grandmother always liked to rant about how the bad tap water in our town had stunted my growth. Given that I stood at a meager 4’10” at the age of twenty-nine, I understood why she’d have a conspiracy theory. But the truth was, it was just the way I grew. And it always made it fun when I challenged my thirty-two-year-old husband to a game of hide and seek.

I always won. Hiding under the stairwell.

  35. It feels as if I’ve lost the ability to grow. My limbs have stretched to their most finite points and my mind lacks the plasticity it once took for granted. While it is a natural occurrence to degrade with age, I can’t help feeling as if I’ve not only stopped growing, but I’ve also began to go backwards as well.

  37. hello darkness my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again.

    When you fly,
    it can be freeing.
    But when you live,
    it can be forever.
I feel most alive when I’m here
Like maybe I could touch forever.

  38. This was not a stunt, it was high art–you could tell by the patrons who attended.

  39. She took a deep breath. Before she had lost the bet, she would never have done this. Oh, who was she kidding. She did this because she was bored. She did this every day- it was an addiction, a drug. Her breath came faster as she grinned at the empty air before her. It was time to finish this- and she was impressed with her trick. It took a lot to provoke a reaction in her. The unfamiliar fluttering of nervousness was lodged squarely in her middle. She took a deep breath… and fell slowly forward.
