as i sat on the park bench, looking out onto the horizon, i started thinking. i thought about the success in everyone’s life and when ill have some of my own for others to admire. i sat for awhile pondering this thought that had been punching down the was into my consciousness, and i got up started waling looked down, and there sat a 20 dollar bill..my thoughts had created this and that’s just the beginning!
What everyone is told to do
What happens when you give something your all
People respect it
Success is different for everyone
I will succeed at writing about Succeeding
I wanna succeed in every thing i do. I wanna be a perfectionist. I wanna be the best. Its a passion that I have. I would love to do something for this world with this passion.
“In order to succeed in this little world,” he said before pausing to take a drag on the cigarette he found on the edge of the fountain, “you have to . . . “
it’s like a command given, almost. not quite, i guess, because it’s just too intangible and hard to define. you can’t just say to someone: “go forth and succeed.” it’s more unspoken than that, i guess. i dunno. i get the feeling that a lot of people are rooting for me to succeed, i just dont know how.
I am impressed with the success a student of mine is having. Rather than using real world examples for understanding math problems, he uses examples from the world of gaming.
i can succeed if i try and try if i fail but as always i shall continue life with happiness that glowed before me.help me help me who am i if i have no future save me who am i if i have lost all hope? bring me back fand succeed where i have failed in m life filled with turmoil. who are we but just people help us… help us… help us.
ive never fully understood peoples desire to succeed in things that hold no meaning to them what so ever. if it doesnt really matter… whats the point? ive mostly concluded that people need these tiny things in life to stay relatively sane and to make themselves feel better, but i think we should spend more energy on big picture things. make a difference. but then again, if we’re not happy, we’re not worth much.
“When success is equated with excess. . .” the radio echoed into the empty office.
Well, It wasn’t really empty. There was a desk, and a chair, and lots of little paintings people add to try to be cute. And there was a person in there too. She sat at her desk in the chair, with her head in her arms, not looking at the cute little paintings. And she was crying. She was crying because she knew the office was empty, even when she was inside of it. Because deep in her heart, she knew she was empty too. In her head – with the job and the parties and the money – there was lots of stuff, but in her heart it was empty.
Through the path there will be forks and decisions to make even though we sometimes go off the path we will find our way full of experience and on the road to success.
the pursuits we venture on, such heights beyond our reach, already proves man’s constant desire to flaw himself. We succeed in failing. We do it so beautifully and earnestly. Perfect tragedy.
accomplishments. i push. i try. i may not ever reach that goal but along the way i hope i saw some light. i hope i gained some inspiration. i hope i grew. that in itself is success to me.
I can try to win your heart,
I could try to win your love.
But will I ever succeed?
You already hold my heart,
and you have all my love.
You know more success
than I have ever seen.
To succeed has different definitions for different people. One person may think that success is having lots of money; another may believe it means to love who you are, where you are, and what you have at that time. It all depends on how you look at it.A
So this was what it meant. Success. He knew there was no turning back. Standing in front of the army that was now, rightfully his, he raised his arm in triumph, letting out a victory call that would be heard throughout the nation.
the goal for all human beings. to succeed. why? is that the goal we all have? in life all the things you do. very choice made. every action taken will help you to succeed. but what is success? what does it mean? ahppiness? money? more time? the escape of death?
Oh wow. This word is so frustrating. My parents always throw this word at me. I know they care about me but sometimes it’s annoying. SUCCEED SUCCEED SUCCEED, they say.
What does it even mean? If you asked the sales guy in the back office, he’d tell you that to succeed means to have made as much money as possible. Foregoing all the rest of life’s aspects is just fine. But it seems to me success doesn’t mean much if you aren’t happy.
Suceed. Need it, want it, live for it. Must succeed. It is the only way to impress the ones around me. The only way I will appear to be a useful human being, suceed.
to win. to grow. to get to your destination. or is it the destination that’s important. surely it’s the journey that counts. the destination is just where you end up. one point. a finishing point. after that it’s all over and done with. there’s nothing left. nothing to work toward. the end of the line. nothing left. empty.
all i try to do is succeed, jumping through hoops just to succeed. everyone running around with their heads cut off just to succeed! try hard and you can bet you will…. succeed!
you can succeed at what you chose
and make sure you never lose
the right to keep your life
shinning with great light
the joy you find in yourself
grows with every day you get
to wake up and look around
at the life you’ve now found
The ancient philosopers considered the word succeed to be more than the modern definition, the root breaks down to suc and ceed. Now we know that suc is the main root of suck and ceed is rooted from seed, therefore the real definiton of someone to succeed is really to suck seed.
The suns rays, like fingers seemed to massage the spine of each wave that lifted from the lakes deep waters like a child struggling not to drown, collapsing over rocks with exhaustion, begging the shore to hold them in its shallow safety, but they never succeed at being wanted, always getting pushed back to drown.
I’m where I need to be,
I’ve got what I need to succeed,
But why does it all feel so empty?
What does all of it mean?
Is this success worth getting
If it doesn’t make me happy?
Succeed. At what? When? With others, or a personal success? I haven’t succeeded in much lately, but I still feel accomplished. Past successes are worth something, even if they are not as prevalent as newer ones are to us.
“What? I am very hip, I succeed well in the art of slang of modern times. And they said back in 1942 that I could never be up to date in the on goings.”
Jenny and I looked at each other. It was no wonder that the freshmen spread odd stories about her… but this was beyond weird.
“1942?” Jenny gasped, “that’s real funny… but I seem to remember the school celebrating your sixty-fifth birthday last year. You weren’t alive back then.”
Mrs. Westly turned around and faced her, “but of course I was my dear.”
“But your sixty five,” I explain.
“Thanksgiving to you for recalling such a fickle fact.” She smiled at me and turned around.
Jenny frantically caught my eye and looked towards the other side of the room, towards the door.
Success. Such a strange thing. You never imagine what it will bring, because everyone’s idea of it is different. People are always talked about. Them and their success. How great it is, how it is what you strive for. Is it what we really strive for? Or just some name to put to ourselves.
when a cow goes into a dairy place and doesnt make milk. that is not suceeding. when a man goes into a job and gets fired. that is not succeding. when an astronout doesnt reach the moon. that is not succeding. and why must we suceed ? so we can have nice houses and maids and roof over our heads.
Succeed–How to Succeed in Business? How do you measure success? At the end of the day, I’ll measure success by the lives I’ve touched–by the people I’ve helped along the way. To succeed, at the end of the day, is not about the material goods–it’s trite but true, you can’t take it with you. You CAN take good karma with you and that would be success.
