  1. Sweaters. I’ve never particularly cared for them–too bulky, most of the time. There was one sweater, though, my dad’s before me, that I wore nearly every day one winter. I outgrew it last year.

  20. is warm and cozy on a cold day or night. Can be made of a vareity of materials. I particularly like cotton sweaters because they don’t scratch my skin. I used to have a red sweater that was kind of long and went just below my bottom.

  24. The sweater was draped over the back of the chair. The chair was not happy about this; it was not a very strong chair and could not lift more than 20 pounds. This was a very heavy sweater. It may as well have been armor, but it was entirely made of yarn.

  27. Oh the winter season. It beckons the sweet, warm, embracing sweater for the season. It hugs you and lets you know that if you snuggle just a little stronger, it will fulfill all your warmth needs, and it smiles. :)

  28. My cousin bought me a beautiful hand-knit sweater for my birthday. The colors are perfect for me, and so is the fit and style. Just one problem—it’s 100%, very scratchy wool, and I am 100% sensitive to it, so it just irritates me too much to wear. :(

  30. “Yes, but what does that mean for us?” I asked into my cell. Listening to his voice I watched the cars pass by outside my window. I could see the coldness of the dark night, the rain that hadn’t fallen for weeks suddenly fell down like bullets. Just a moment ago the cars had been driving towards their loved ones. I sat down on my bed, still listening to his excuses. His sweater still lay on my bed end, the light blue of the sky this morning. Then he hung up, and my tears poured down with the rain.

  33. i want to knit a sweater for a friend but i know they wont wear it because who wears anything knitted anymore? I have a sweater that i want…but the problem is its my boyfriends. we live far and i rarely get to see him so having his sweater on makes me feel like he is always with me, arms wrapped around me and keeping me safe. Today is a cool day so i had to wear a sweater to class and all i wanted to do was go back to bed and see my man waiting for me when i got there…but no such luck. It looks like i will be sleeping alone again tonight.

  34. I had a high school history teacher who wore sweater vests a lot. They were always plaid, and they always clashed with his plaid tie and his plaid pants. Yes, plaid golf pants. In school. We all thought he was kind of cool at first, and then her turned out to be an idiot.

  36. I don’t have a sweater on today even though I should. It is a bit chilly out, I’m sick, and I have a short sleeve shirt on…probably not the brightest idea. However, none of the jackets I have here with me go with my outfit and I left my peacoat back at home in Virginia. I should have told my mom to bring it with her today…
