  1. He had swept her off her feet with one glance. Everything about that crooked smile stole her heart. How could she possibly even keep her mind on what the teacher was talking about? There was no way that she could even concentrate on anything except what that mischievious glint in his eye meant. He was gorgeous, and looking straight at her, only her.

  4. As she swept the floor, she thought about her life. The good times, the bad times. It was all a blur as it ran through her head. She enjoyed the memories, even the ones t hat hurt to think about. Running her hand through her brown hair, she imagined his face. He was the reason she felt like this, always confused and hurt.

  6. You swept me off my feet the night we kissed.
And I will never forget. Ever.
Because I had you and you had me. And that’s all that mattered.
You say I’m the one who kissed you. And I’ve never been so happy with a decision I’ve made. And now.. you’re the one who kisses me.

  8. You swept me off my feet the first time you said my name, and now everytime I get a text from you it’s like that moment all over again. You are amazing, and I am so glad that I’m finally able to move on, but not all things can be easy especially this because alas my best friend likes you. And even though you talk to me way more than you talk to her I can never tell you how I truly feel because I can never do something so low as to date the guy my best friend is in love with. It happened to me once and that was like getting swept under a rug. I love you, but it will never happen, because between you and me there is my friend, and I’d choose her friendship over our being together any day.

  14. I really haven’t done this oneword stuff in a while. And I’m really not sure what to write about.

But see, whatever the randomly generated word is, the first thing that always pops into mind is you. Yeah–sometimes I wonder if you’re just a fictional character in my mind; some fantasy I’ve invented, to keep me hoping that maybe you’ll meet reality in my future. That you’ll be able to materialize into something that I can actually hold and kiss and hug.

    That’s all, really.

  16. the air was always at a consistent breezy state. it wasn’t even necessary to bring out the blowdry, untangle its many coils and stand in the fuming heat only to still have the wind sweep my hair around in it’s own aura of autumn leaves. no, i could step out of the shower, sit outside, and be ready for the day. i was at peace there, my hair swept messy and perfect along my freckled forehead.

  18. Swept to me is a word of flight, not in the physical sense, but in the romantic or dream like meaning of it. To be swept away to another place, time, or thought. I often dream of being pulled away to places far from me, from my normal life to experience different things. I would give anything to be lifted away from my simple, tedious life to be placed somewhere full of wonder and foreign existence.

  23. If she didn’t know any better, she’d swear she had swept the floor twenty times already today. Each and every time she’d felt like Cinderella, only minus the Prince Charming and happily ever after. The only thing she’d ever have to look forward to were the 7 hours of unconsciousness every night.

  24. the broom was old and dusty. she hardly ever swept. something about the dust collecting, day after day, was comforting. the collection of the trials of each morning and afternoon building up in the corner instead of being cleaned, removed and lost forever.

    Like dust and a broom
    completely gone
    Spinning in the air

you clean me and rid me of weaknesses

  34. I left the place, left out by the broom that was pushing me out through my heart. Swept as I was along the floor of my life, it left me drawn and panting, coolly falling away from all I had been and all I wanted to be. The breezes along the edge swept me long time, freeing all of my past away from me and kept me longing for whatever the edges drew me towards. The Horizon called to me, sweetly, foreign to my ears.

  40. I was standing by myself in the pitch darkness. I didn’t know how I had gotten there. I didn’t know why I was there. All I knew is that something was coming. Billows of wind were sweeping by me at record speeds, they flew so quickly I was surprised at my ability to stand my ground. Oh yes, it would be here any minute now. I could feel it coming up behind me fast, powerful, and most certainly angry. But what was it? What did it want with me? What had I done to put myself in this situation? I felt more lost than ever.
