  1. it took about three months and a break up or two but she finally swept me off my feet. i’ll never be the same again. my outlook on love, life, reality, fate: they’ve all changed because of one amazing person i met when i needed to. i wouldn’t say it was love at first sight but it was definitely perfect timing when i walked in that door and saw her sitting there…

  2. to be swept away is to live in the moment.
    it is dangerous.
and important and theres a reason you sweep things – often nothing is left when you live recklessly.
Make life like an ocean, be caught in its currents.

  3. Swept up in the falsely sweet illusions of grandur, she held her hed high and peered down her nose at the pirate leader. “The Gods have spoken.” The girl’s voice was commanding, and unshaken by the terror that stood before her. Thorn’s brow lofted above her blood soaked blindfold as a smirk graced her blood red lips. “Oh sweetie, you’re going to need more than the God’s word to sway me from my task.” The sweet words curled out of her lips like smoke in the cold air, her mocking tone seemed to turn the words to arrows that pierced the young girl’s heart. Shaking her blonde curls, the girl scoffed away the doubt creeping in on her heart. “No. Vin told me, he told me you were bad. And I should kill you.” Her blue eyes sparkled as she spoke of him, such warm emotions were obvious in her tone. “Tck.” The noise coupled with Thorn’s sudden annoyance made her feelings on the matter clear. “He lied, my sweet.” Her words draped in velvet as they settled over the fawn’s heart to cast her into darkness. “You poor thing….”

  4. Sitting on the beach staring out at the waves rippling across the deep blue of the ocean and disappearing into the distant horizon. I sit near the water, my feet just slittly in the cool blue water. The waves surround me running up my legs, the cool water refreshing my skin in the hot summers day. As I sit I build sandcastles, each one getting destroyed by the next wave. But with each wave there is a fresh start, old castles washed away into a distant memory, and room for future sandcastles to come.

  5. I never took much notice of you. Tried to ignore you and the PDA sessions with your girlfriend outside the building. You were always just there, just the boy always late to class.

  6. Every time I see him I am swept away. My knees get weak and I just want to fall into his arms and never have to speak to anyone else ever again. We have long conversations in the dark, if only we could do more than that in the dark.

  7. Sometimes it seems like everything is swept away in an instant. Like the ocean tide sweeps away the sand, so it seems that your smile can sweep me away in what seems like a split second. I think it’s been so long since I’ve felt that, therefore it seems to keep me up at night and make me wonder if I’ll ever get to sleep straight through again. There’s some kind of magic to it.

  9. The wind swept through my hair, just the same way as his fingers used to, when we would sleep in the same bed.
Oh how I missed him. Oh how much I wished we could start over. The way he used to swept me off my feet. Literally. I miss it so much.
I remember when I first saw him, the way his eyes swept over me. It was infinitely exciting.

  10. when you think about sweeping, most think about dirt. I like to think about love. Swept away. someone who sweeps you off your feet and into their arms. Cheesy, I know, but its an amazing feeling. Every person should at some point feel swept. Even if you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, you should revisit this feeling to keep things alive.

    by Nicole on 03.06.2011

  16. She swept the kitchen with a staggering monotony that she couldn’t find with any other work. The broom moved forward, backward, over and over; instead of it being boring, she found it interesting, something that was constant in a life filled with surprises and unnoticed twists. The dust swirled up in patterns while being swept to the corner.

  26. Cinderella swept that one spot over and over and over, but the stain never did come out. Every time she walked by it winked at her like a Cheshire cat, and she would set her jaw and tramp by and set herself to another task – for there was always another task, never ending chores for her to do. But her peripheral vision was astoundingly developed for someone her age and it was always there, mocking, in the corner of her eye.

  36. She swept the floor of the hair that she chopped off her head and thought of how powerful the snip of those scissors could be. Why should anybody be measured by what or what isn’t on her head? Hair is hair, it grows back. It’s funny what power one can feel by just the snip of the scissors.
