  1. ugh. teaching is nice, but teacher’s nowadays? fuck them! my spanish almost slipped out my tongue just thinking about it because of the anger. teaching is learning as well. if you don’t like teaching, just don’t do it. do humanity a favor. do the future a favor. your mediocrity is making the future mediocre.

  2. she cannot believe that after being stuck on school for what seems like millions of years in school she is going back to be a teacher. she is going back to teach in a high school and she wishes she would have chosen something less stressful like elementary school!

and this one, cute co-worker of hers is so cute! but he also seems to not like her, when he should since they are the like one of the few people teaching at this school within the same age group, the rest are much older. and he teaches a subject that she has always had trouble turning her work in, English.

still she is the new history teacher at the high school and it seems like no one will talk with her because of that mean cute English teacher. he held some power but why? she would definitely find out before the year ended, meaning her trial period to show that she could indeed work there.

  4. I hated my junior year English teacher. She always had some sort of vendetta towards someone, and always had something to complain about. And if she wasn’t groveling about life, she was speaking about her dogs.

  7. i wasn’t blessed with a good teacher in elementary, junior high and senior high. so i never thought i would have a teaching job as i grew up. i enjoyed teaching, but that’s not my vocation. still, it’s rewarding to see how students progress in their learning.

  8. Teaching is such an important part of life, and people often take it for granted. Teachers are not the only ones who teach. We are all teachers, and we are all students. The important thing is to learn when to be the teacher and when to be the student, when to grasp the wheel and when to sit back and feel the movement of the turns.

  9. My loathing for these creatures is unfounded; they do their best, i’m sure. Mumsy is one too, scary thoughts, fuck headteachers though. Bad experiences my god.

  11. My least favorite teacher was my teacher in the third grade. His name was Mr. Anderson. I had him for Summer School. We were working on math problems. We had three envelopes and four different stamps. He asked “How many combination could you have?” We all immediately yelled “12.” He told us we were done and there is no way we could no the answer so quickly. I called him a bitch. I was a strong worded child.

  12. Some change lives. Most are stupid. But they care about you, and want you to succeed. They’ve usually failed in their chosen profession so they lean on education as a back up career. I pity them.

  14. Teacher, teacher, why wont you tell me why you wanted to become a teacher? Was it a bad question?

No, not a bad question, just a bad answer.

    What do you mean?

I became a teacher because I never learned from anyone but myself.

  21. She wiped the eraser shards off the desk and watched them fall. Start over, she thought and kept going the way she did in school. Over and over until they said she was done. She didn’t realize she was done until she got somewhere she never meant to be.

  24. I had a few good ones, and pretty bad as well. The fact is they are so fascinating and inspiring as role models in our childhoods that most of us, crazy people that are not willing to get rich at all, decide to become teachers as well.

  25. I love my teacher. She’s always so kind and nice to me like she is to everyone in class. She teaches history but I never liked history as it is very boring. Although the teacher always makes it interesting for us so that we can learn better. My best experience with the teacher is that she would always joke around in class although the subject matter is not that funny.

  26. I want to be a teacher when I grow up. In school I hate most of the teachers, there so annoying and jerk. They take my phone, they give us detention. I see some teachers as heroes like my History teacher, he’s a cool guy. Teachers can give you hope and make you responsible

  28. I don’t like my teachers. They never remember me. Over and over I tell them it is “Jessie”. On my papers, I write “Jessie”. On the fucking roll, it says “Jessie”. And yet…

    “Jessica!”

Milford was the worst culprit of this. You shouldn’t be a teacher if you can’t remember your students’ names.

I still go back, 5 years later, to student direct the musicals she puts on. And wow, are they amazing! So much more than what you would expect from a bunch of 6th graders.

  33. Teachers,
as a homeschooler i never really had a “teacher” in the sense of school
well i did but most of my classes i took online. atleast academic ones.
and i really dislike the term teacher.
iwouldn’t say i have had teachers but i have had many mentors.
because really teacher is just a term.
    you learn from everything
trying to say that one person is going to be a “teacher” really is false.
people learn from everything that is around them.

  34. i found this website the other day that advertised jobs for english speaking graduates of college to teach english in other countries. I have never thought of myself as a teacher by any means, I am shy and stutter when I have to talk in front of crowds. But for some reason I want to take this job no matter how bad I might be at it.

  39. Teachers are perhaps the most important people in the world. I’m not just talking about those teachers who give you A’s (or F’s depending on your intelligence level). Everyone in the world is a teacher to somebody. It’s because of those teachers that the world is shaped and influenced into what it is today.

  40. Teach me by helping and talking and searching. For ideas and dreams and growth. Growing and remembering all you did and all you do. Leaving a mark like not many can do.
