  14. Train, my ex-boyfriend’s favorite band, probably the most adorable guy I know, but sometimes I wish he would get hit by a train. Then I feel bad and recreate it to where he’s just bumming a ride on the train like hobos do.

  15. my son loves trains. they are his most favorite thing in the world right now. ah, to be four and in love with just one thing instead of an adult and in love with everything. i enjoy his interest and his knowledge. he has taught me so much about them and everyday he stars anew. it’s awesome to see and watch. i’m a lucky mom.

  19. The train pummeled through Old Town Helena. The screech of the metal against the concrete created the roar of the monster. It smashed into the creek busting the dam into two cracked open pieces. The nearby pedestrians stunned.

  20. While they were at the altar of the nada, Jensen found his pants. “Best catch the train out of here while it’s still in the station,” he thought to himself as he pulled his pants on. “Hmmm…fresh laundered.”

  21. More, harder. He was always pushing more, and he hated it, and he hated the ache that settled in his body each night as he tried to sleep. But he still pushed, because to disappoint himself would be worse. He had to train. If he ever stopped, he felt he would die.

  22. Train the train to train trains – I feel as though the cartoons are mad.

  23. The train whistle blew and he hopped on, avoiding all eye contact. He wasn’t supposed to be leaving the state, or at least that’s what his father advised after the situation he’d been it, but he had to see her. As the train lurched forward, he closed his eyes, praying he wasn’t ,making the biggest mistake of his life.

  24. I just took a beautiful dance picture on a train track. Thankfully, none came along and hit us. It was an unlikely place to find beauty. There was glass, garbage, and debris. But with the sun shining on my face and my multicolored costume, it was something special. She gave me a glimpse onto the screen, a little preview. I looked beautiful. I’m not used to that feeling. I liked it, and all on train tracks. Who would have thought.

  25. The train of life makes few stops, lets few on, but lets many off. Long for some, short for others, but fast for all. It speeds by, a blur letting passengers continue to live without much thought or further action until their stop arrives.

  26. The train was speeding down it’s tracks, and a young girl was on board. She stared at the window as trees and blue skies passed her by. Then, a young man came and sat next to her. She smiled and whispered a “Hello.” He couldn’t help but grin at her and whisper a hello right back to her, and little did they know that they would fall in love some day.

And so I left, my mind in utter agony, exploding from the amount of words I had to say.

But all I could say to her was, “If I don’t leave now, I’ll miss my train.”

  29. Ridin’ on the train, swiggin’ my whiskey. I gave the proper man behind me no smiles, and laughed giddily as I trailed to the end of the train to sit back, and watch the tracks sprawl from underneath the train. I sat down in a heap, and a grunt. I was heavily drunk, and I’m sure everyone could tell that I was by now, since I’ve had my fifth bottle of the good stuff.

  30. Today I rode the train, in fact I ride the train almost everyday. Both a metropolitan and city rail line. They are very different but strikingly similar. It is the best to just watch people on the train, watch whats going on outside as you fly by in your protective car. You can read or listen to music or space out. Trains rattle and are noisy but there is a comforting aspect of this noise. Trains have a few rules and a lot of unwritten ones. I mostly enjoy sitting in the quiet car where nobody is allowed to talk but sometimes the noisy cars are the most fun, people are so different.

  31. I decided to take the train home this time. It had been so very long since I’d been there, and a train was a good idea. I don’t have a car, and the nearest airport is just too far away.

I enjoy the scenery that one sees from the train windows. It’s so much nicer than when I am doing the driving. I so rarely get to see the backdrop of America when I am driving cross-country as I must keep my eyes on the road. Not so when I ride the train.

Would you like to ride the train with me?

  32. it took one long night without you, and she took off running. a bottle of wine in her system, she started spilling old memories. she ran the miles to the train station and told me she’d come back when she could recall your voice. she took the 3:21 with two dollars to her name, a half-empty tube of pink lipstick, and the photos she took last time she saw you.

  33. harry wasn’t going home. not really. i wasn’t either. whether i liked it or not, whether i was prepared or not, hogwarts had become my home. the ghosts had become my friends, my teachers had become my mentors. the cot i had slept in for so long would never equate to the four-poster bed that always waited for me, warm and inviting, just a few steps away from the glow of the common room fireplace.

  34. He was coming on the train, and I was waiting. It was surreal, being in the station, among all the other people with their other stories. People reunited: a dad picked his daughter up and put her on his shoulder, a husband and wife brought their heads together and held one another soulfully when the met at the gateway doors– but I was still waiting for my traveler. I wondered how our encounter would be– a story like the others.

  35. I think I can I think I can I think I can I think I can. I sleep. I can. I can. On the train on the train on the train on the train I sleep? I sleep on the train. I can. I think. I am. I sleep. I can think and sleep. On the train I sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

  36. rocky iv trained like aollo creed. he was the man. i mean how many people go to the russian mountains and beat communism. also the train system made america great. it allowed for people to get places faster and make it so that supplies could be transported cheaper, safer, and faster. i will next to a train track. it was loud at first but it got better as time went on.

  38. I yawned as I got up from my bed, hearing the usual “chack-a-laka” of the train running loudly along the track. I lived on the country side after moving in together with my aunt, after losing my family. I once lived in the city, where all day long you’d hear bustling streets and honking cars, never once, the sound of a train.

I got up and opened my curtains and leaned my body against the window, staring out into the clear blue skies, wondering how my life could’ve been.

  39. i’ve never ridden on a train but I’ve played on them and with toy versions of them. They make every movie I watch more interesting, and I never get tired of someone jumping on/off/across train cars. I always wanted to be in the car where people were drinking and playing poker.
