  1. They signed the treaty quickly. the quill spent meer seconds on the paper, one swift movement from the two and it was done. Neither side wanted to fight anymore. Or at least thats how they made it seem. In each of the Geneal’s eyes blazed a fierce determinance to get what they wanted, and a treaty most certainly didn’t provide that. If only they knew how far this devilsh greed and lack of following the rules would take them… oh why didn’t they see it before?

  3. I have never signed a treaty. Though lots of people in history have. I dont see the point in treatys simply because people never seem to hold to them. I mean really what good is peoples word these days. The integrity of this world has decreased rapidly as time has gone by.

  5. I spent the entire night thinking about what will happen in 3 hours. A treaty has taken place, I have to sign it and save our company… In return, I have to give up my life. I don’t know why we have agreed to such terms, but for some reason, I didn’t hesitate to say no.

AP European History was where I learned that the world was like a battleground and it felt like a long time ago, when nations fought each other almost like it was for fun and then took it back when they felt like it or had no other choice or because someone got married or gave it back. Treaties feel like bigger deals now, but they probably felt like big deals then too.

  16. They want a treaty? If I couldn’t trust them before I put my john hanscock on a piece of paper then I still couldn’t do it after it. I have a hard time believing treaty creates peace when it starts with self decision that comes from within. If you can do it by signing your name, why couldn’t you do it before? It’s old, cold, nonsense.

  17. If this a pact that when is the deal not in my favour. I put everything into this and yet you get want you want while I wait. I understand someone has to come off second best in a treaty, these conditions, these requirements by which we have to live.

Never mind that the two countries didn’t exist, there were no battles, and that Richard was just a seven-year-old named Ricky playing with toy knights ending a major conflict. But hey, he could be the best diplomat in the future. One never knows.

  20. A treaty is to serve both parties. Yet, in the end, I end up with the least to receive. All I do is nod. I don’t have feelings. That’s preposterous! Another human being with emotions? I can’t get hurt? All I do is hurt others in the end. I might as well serve in the process of serving.

  21. It was a good thing that he planned to go to the treaty signing…he thought that his presence there would lend it some credibility. Hopefully that was the case because there were very few press to see the actual signing and therefore not too many would be notified of the event.

  22. There are a lot of treaties that have been made in history. They are made to make sure that people do what they are supposed to do. It can be used to make peace between nationsto put agreements on paper.

  26. Treaty is a word that has the word treat in it. Maybe a treaty is a treat for those involved in the treaty. I’m not sure of very many instances where treaties weren’t treats. Treaties can end wars and shit, that would seem like a pretty amazing treat to me.

  28. I once had a friend that thought I was insane. One day this friend thought that he could train me to be normal. I told him I was fine, that I was okay.
