  2. This is a reminder – a PSA if you will – that you’ve got a duty to your country to go out there whether you know what you’re doing or not, and mess this system up.
    Vote.
Say what you will, what you want, what people don’t need to hear.
    Go out and do it.
Punch a hole, press a button, exercise your right to fuck shit up.
    This has been a PSA.
    Please play responsibly.
    Thank you.

  3. Tomorrow I want the world to be a little bit better than today if possible. And maybe that’s going to come from someone like me doing something different. Or maybe that’s going to come from someone in charge doing something different.

    by Cleo on 09.30.2012
  4. I believe that the single most important way that we can create a revolution in this country is to vote. Voting is a privilege that many people do not take advantage of. Make a difference. Speak your mind. Make the world into the one you’ve always wanted. If you won’t get up to vote, what will you do? You have to find a way to make this world safe.

    by Ashley on 09.30.2012
  5. It’s out duty as citizens to vote. Without the vote, we have no right to complain or whine or send out any negative energy to society around us because it is our own fault that we were too lazy, selfish, and narrow-minded to help our country or locality progress.

    by Madeline Fitzgerald on 09.30.2012

  8. We don’t accept the majority just because it says the words your peers want to hear; we calculate our advantage, divide by stupidity, subtract circumstance, and multiply by ethics. Once finished, we expand our truths to promote action and reaction towards the polarities of good or evil, and yet the moments of beauty are defined by something beyond the opportunites presented in this shallow game.

  9. “Nnnngn, do I have to?”

Zero, a freshly turned 18 year old, sat on the couch, fiddling with the remote. His older sister was at the door, waving the car keys in her hand.

“Yes. Voting is the one thing we get to do in politics. You act like its a burden, but it’s not. I see as the one object average citizens are able to control in the political world. Something insignificant, but in grand numbers adds up.”

“Other people will be there. Just go with out me, sis.”

“No. You don’t understand. Other people around the world don’t have the opportunity to go vote. They’re under harsher regimes, more cold-hearted governments. You should consider it a blessing that you have the right to vote.

“So come with me, Zero. Let’s go make a small change in the world.”

  10. I vote for a better beauty, a world uninhibited by the majority and open to the loving hands of all conciousness. We are gods and godesses and our words, thoughts, and fingers flying to the clouds dictate destiny.

    by Fiona on 09.30.2012
  11. You are invited to the table but unless you vote, no one will listen to what you have to say, and your character would be questioned. It’s important to vote!!!!

    by John Shinavier on 09.30.2012
  12. Voting. I don’t even know who to vote for. Sarah says my vote will be judged by God at the gates of heaven…I’m calling bullshit. Why would God judge me for voting or not voting or voting for the “wrong” candidate? What even decides the “wrong” from the “right” candidate?

  13. She couldn’t stand up, not even after everything that had happened. Her voice was caught deep in her bowels, gurgling as her friends stood with their heads held high. Stones caught them in the eyes, the nose, the ruby lips. They fell around her in chaos, and she could feel the approving feel of her parent’s gaze as she stayed in her seat. The president looked directly through her and she felt her heart turn to ice; she could not live on, she would stand. The stone caught her sharp in the side of her head, and her body fell into the water. Floating slowly downstream, she let the acid melt her body away; she had cast her vote.

  14. For an election that has the possibility to shape not just your life but the lives of your children. Vote, because every voice no matter how small and insignificant makes a sound when you put a pen to the ballot and say – you. I choose you.

  20. So many words, so many letters, names and instructions, swirling around in front of him into some kind of unholy soup of black ink. He’s frightened, trapped in the ballot box with nowhere to run to and everything to run from. He is unable to leave without voting, he must vote. He’s not allowed not to, his government won’t let him, but in spite of all the reasons he must, he just can’t make sense of the marks on the paper.

    His dyslexia cripples him.

  21. The election was well under way. The future president was unaware that in a month the votes would be going in his favor. All he knew was that he had to win the election. Were he not to win, the country would go into distress. He didn’t know that he’d win the election, in fact he was sure that he’d lose. But he was determined.

  22. Voting is something we do to ensure we have our say. In society, in life, in everything, A vote is someone’s entitlement to their own opinion. It is saying “YOU ARE AS IMPORTANT AS EVERYONE ELSE”. No vote is more valuable than another.

It’s the first time this has ever counted, isn’t it?

    by Paige on 09.30.2012
  26. I get to express my opinions and beliefs in the voting booth. It’s a privilege many in this country take for granted. They forget the sacrifices that have been made to allow us such an honor. They forget that so many around the globe can’t vote freely.

  28. He looked at the ballot, there were names written across it, staring him in the face. The empty boxes stared back at him pleading to be filled. He couldn’t do it. It had taken him until now to realize his moral obligations. He didn’t know anything about the names before him, they were just that, names. Would it really make that much of a difference? He decided, no. One vote would not change the course of the election. So he made his decision, and checked the box of the man who had the best smile. And with that, he condemned the whole country.

  29. Obama Vs. Romney …..

Your generation is in your hand.
Use it wisely. Don’t be influenced by others.
    The choice is yours.

  35. “All in favour, raise your hand.” Three hands shakily rose up before slinking down rapidly under the glare of the judge.
“And all those against?” The rest of the room did the same motion; the judge practically glowed under the mass of raised hands before him and he inclined his head towards the three people who had voted in favour of the bill that will have caused rife in the glorious Empire that he had made it to be.
And the three delegates from the counties that were suffering from the same judge before them quivered for they knew that their lives were going to end.

  36. I’ve never been one to vote. When I turn 18 I’ve already decided that I won’t. I don’t want to be at blame when the country doesn’t get what they want. Therefore I’ll save myself the trouble and skip out on voting. I won’t complain when something happens, I just don’t care enough.

  37. Its a vicious circle to vote or not to vote will it make any difference?? That is the real question!

  38. I don’t know who I’m gonna vote for this year. There are not many candidates that are good. on the other hand, I’m gonna work at these elections. Which makes me pretty sad and bored, since I don’t like it. I’ve done it once. It was at a school and it was difficult to go to the room since there were only ladders and no elevator. I hope it’ll be different this year. Ah, it won’t. It’s going to be the same mess it was last year. What a bore that girl was! Hopefully she’s not gonna be there this time again. She was so bossy and snotty.
