  4. Magic flows from wands as surely as it does from the hands of wizards. Wands are the essential prop for all good fairie godmothers and magicians. Harry Potter requires a wand to channel his un-muggle-ish powers as does Merlin and all the great wizards of old. Without the wand, the wizard is defenseless, reduced to a brittle empty shell of ordinariness. The power is in the prop. I need a wand to conquer the day and will carry it with me, invisible to the world. It will me my private “force” and wll give me strength, my private magic, my wand.

  13. Wand. We had this in school today.
Nicht die Wand. Nein, viel mehr. Das Gegenteil.
Eine Wand die hält dich auf. Und ein “Wand” das führt dich weiter. Darüber hinaus. Und durch Wände hindurch. Da ist mehr. Das ist wie Zauberei. Eine eigene Welt.

  14. Life would be much more interesting if I had a magic wand; I’ve tried picking up random sticks from the street and waving them around like a lunatic, but no luck yet. Sometimes I wonder what I’d do if I really did have one. Nothing good, I’m sure.

  23. a wand is but an enchanted stick
with the ability to cast spells,
fulfill wishes and heal the sick.

    but such a stick does not exist;
fantasy is not to be confused with reality.

the mere stick will stab you
with its false promises of happiness and healing
with its false hope and fake beliefs.

    get real.

  28. I held it in my hand; clutched it tightly to my chest. I never thought I’d see the day it reached my eyes, but somehow it had. Now, the strands of light flickered in and out of the windows, and the tree branches scraped the glass louder than ever, but I was no longer afraid. I knew now what I had to do. I tightened my grip, and felt the wood snap beneath my fingertips. I felt a sliver pierce my skin and shivered- the strands of light spilled from the walls and inside my wounds.

  40. Harry potter had a wand.
He used it for magic and such.
    Many people have had wands.
But all I can think about right now is that damned Harry Potter. Dumbledore dies. Sad isn’t it? J.K. Rowling also kills a weasley twin, Sirius, Lupin, Tonks… all the characters I love.

Harry survives. I didn’t care much for him.
I like Luna. She lives. I think Luna should have married Neville.
Ron and Hermione got married. That’s good.
I wish Ginny had married someone else though. Harry annoys me…

Unicorns have wands on their foreheads.
