  2. The area was cordoned off with yellow tape and flashing lights. Promises of danger. A place set apart by the law to keep the masses from tragedy, from carnage, from the remnannts of evil. An area that had once been little more than an uniunteresting stretch of sidewalk was now the unhallowed ground of newborn death.

  3. I cannot get beyond that zone. The city has become a place where a person of my social position cannot rise above where I belong. There might as well be a gated community dividing the no-name nobodies and the fabulous somebodies.

  4. zone limitates things. i don’t what else to say. i don’t like that word. sucks. i prefer to have no lines, no limits, no zones.

  5. Oh no. I’m sorry if I smothered you. They told me the other day that people have these things — sometimes people wish for them, too — and they told me that I didn’t really understand, and that I was suffocating you. I wish they’d told me sooner. I wish you were the one. But we’re wrong, don’t you see? What I want isn’t that, it’s just to be here, locked in your heart, between two lungs.

  6. The zone is a place that has a spefic thong. I mean who knows what goes on there. My personal zone, quiet zone, who knows the meaning. The meaning could be anything and that makes no sense to me.

  7. Zone.
    Mine.
    You’re in it.
It makes me uncomfortable, and I just cannot deal with the discomfort.
It makes me tense, I can feel it, in my chest, the pressure. My tongue feels like it’s swollen in my throat. I have personal space problems.
This is why I hate public transit.

  8. Inside the zone, we could only see what we wanted to see. The things that we thought were important. What I saw was no surprise and when I faced it full on, and I knew the reason the zone was created.

To ruin those of us who were afraid of something.

  9. No place for you to run out of
    the silvery surface
has trapped you in a mirror
    all your memories
thoughts and whispers are residing here
    sleeping without dreams
    phantasms
    in the zone
    hover above your head

by Craig 'O Reilly on 08.15.2012
  10. There is a place I sometimes go. A place where nothing can hurt and no one can see me. My mind wanders, my skin tingles, my tongue twists. My zone is clear.

    by Celestial Wechter on 08.15.2012
  11. To be in the zone means to be in focus. But my focus seems to be different than most. I’m in a different zone most of the time. I’m dead to the present zone, so does that make me a zonebie?

  12. i was in the zone. there were twenty seconds left in the game and as i threw the ball i knew id make it in the basket. as it went in the attmosphere of the gym went crazy. girls were jumping up and down and i was the cause of this joy.

    by Taylor on 08.15.2012
  13. Zoned out, thinking about you again, i guess. I’m your cutiepie, your sweetie. You’re my linebacker, my american footballer. Distract me and make me giggle and squeal like i’m twelve again. Never felt so in love. I

  14. I’m in the zone, the zone to trying to find out what everything means. What does everything mean? There are so many things in my life that make this zone seem unbearable at times. I just wish that there was a sign to why this is all happening, and I want to know if i’m going to get the happy ending i’ve always wanted.

    by Kpuppy on 08.15.2012
  15. being in the zone. what does that even mean? what zone? are there different kinds of zones? or is everyones zone the same? do we even want to be in a ‘zone’?

    by Brian on 08.15.2012
  17. In the zone, time for me to me to focus on my goals. The zone is more than a place – it is a state of mind. A focus unparalleled by any other emotion. Being in the zone is bliss.

  18. on a distant planet where few have traveled, there is an area in which time frequently reverses, thus creating a time machine. This zone abducts the visitor and spits them out into a new dimention where glimpses of the past can be caught. The trouble is, this reversal isn’t in a linear direction, it tends to spiral and wag.

    by Janet on 08.15.2012
  19. I wish there was a place I could go to get away from all the madness. A stress-free zone if you will. Will you? I need to get there. I’ll die trying. Perhaps I’ll find a hand to hold along the way.

    by Shannon on 08.15.2012
  20. Closing Her eyes, and taking in a deep breath, The Huntress speeds Her blood red chopper down the deserted suburban street; here on the hunt She is in Her zone.

    by Chirstine on 08.15.2012

  22. A zone is a place where someone puts you. Whether it’s the friend zone, the jobless zone, the married zone, it’s a place where you’ve ended up and in a lot of cases, you’ll be stuck there. The end.

  23. Only a wall and a few steps. That’s all that separated him from freedom. But guards patrolled the area with their fingers already on their trigger. What was beyond the wall? He didn’t know. No one did. His mother couldn’t tell him. She had died giving birth to him, a sin that his father never could forgive.

  24. I’m falling out of place. I miss you. I miss everyone and everything that I spent time with last month. I was so fearful of being out of my comfort zone when I got there, but now that I’m back I’m seemingly out of my comfort zone. That place is my comfort zone, those people are my comfort zone. How can I be comfortable when I’m so far away from the place I now call Home?

  25. I’m not in the zone right now. I just don’t know what to write. In fact I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately. I guess you can’t be in the zone if you don’t know what it’s like to be in a funk though.

  26. I never was in the zone….

  27. my comfort zone. Wherever that is? Wish I knew. Always hear about it but damn it, not so easy to find out where or what it really is.

  28. Sometimes I feel like I’m in the zone. These times are rare, but fantastic. I walk faster, talk faster, and get things done. I am not in the zone right now. I don’t know what else to say, but I’ll just keep typing. I wonder how often people write that.

  37. Being in a zone is one of the best feelings a human being could possibly ever experience. That moment where you feel so incredibly focused, so passionate, so determines and you’re ready to just get your head down and do what you need to.
