Pledging that my husband will make a GREAT daddy for my two girls. And he pledged, too. And we became a family with ONE last name.

She was beautiful tri-colored, white, grey and light brown, and her green eyes were so green and understanding, but so hollow with hunger I just couldn’t leave her outside in the cold winter night. My dad agreed to take her in temporarily. Guess what? Now she has a new home and her name is Luna Lovecat.
I have recently adopted some new values in my life, such as not killing people who anger me. This is an especially useful tactic when one’s ultimate desire in life is to assimilate into a society where murder is frowned upon.

They say that you can choose your friends but you can’t choose your family. Still, close friends become an adopted family of sorts, and lucky you are if you can say you have such an extended family around you.

Friends of mine had plans to adopt a puppy; actually they still have plans to adopt a puppy. Even more clear, they have plans to adopt another puppy. Puppy #1 turned out to be more puppy than they could handle; seriously, don’t you think that would indicate that maybe they are not adopt-a-puppy people?
