  3. wouldn’t she be handy? “she who knows the answer to everything.” we’d never have to spend another day wondering, sitting with our fist propped under our chin, staring off into space lost in wonder.
but that’s the point!!!!! don’t you love the triumph of figuring out something? it’s a boost of self confidence. we need to learn the answers ourselves. we need to be she/he who knows…what we’re looking for.

  20. Answers! All day long I am answering questions… toddler questions. What is that? What is this? Who is that? Where is Daddy? Where is MY Daddy? To think we were worried he’d never talk, but alas… he talks! And talks! And asks! I love him so, but goodness if I have ever had to come up with more answers to more questions; such is the life of a mommy… and I wouldn’t trade it for anything… honest answer!

  23. Rattling his arm hard against the bed frame, Jensen shouted to anyone who could hear, “I want answers!” But unbeknownst to him, there really wasn’t anyone there at all, no naked hummer, no angel, no Lightning, no Thunder. The sad reality was that he was actually still inside the phone booth, drooling onto the dirty diamond plate metal floor.

  24. She answers the phone with a British-sounding “hello” and has done for years. She’s not remotely British – she’s from California and says “like” more than any other word – but for some reason her phone-hellos all turn out that way.

  25. I don’t know any of the answers to anything. But then again, who does? No one. That’s who. Answers are things that people just strive to achieve but deny when they are not the answers desired. What’s the point then? Just live and let live and you’ll get what you want. Only because it’ll be better than you expected. Because you expected nothing. The answer is not the answer. The journey is what’s important.

She wanted answers. But she was never going to get them. Really, she had the answers already. She just hadn’t heard them. And until she was capable of understanding the answers she already had, newer information would not be revealed.

  37. responses. just simply responses. truthful responses. if they are untruthful then they are lies, but it is a type of answer. it’s sad that some people can’t even tell the truth because they really seem afraid. that’s just my opinion. i wish it would change though. i’m so tired of lies.
