like sucking marble grapes
you are in ecstasy

My grandpa was an architect. He had an office in Newport Beach for almost 60 years. He was awesome. He designed something for the pope once. GAB

Is grand and an awe inspiring thing! A person’s mind is the canvas of the building itself, an original in time. As fleeting as a thought but with the ability to put in place for all to see. To be an Architect!
By Jo Ann on 05.29.2012
Architecture is the art of building. Some of the greatest buildings in the world are actually incredible feats of architectural design, borderlining on the status of art.

Beautiful. Mysterious. Makes me think of scooby doo. makes me think of my mom’s lost hopes and dreams. Makes me then feel bad for ruining my mom’s life. makes me think of kevin king. makes me think of my future home, and my future then, in general. I want secret tunnels and doors and passages in my home when i grow up.

the architecture of this building is so old, like the withering body of a grandmother. The skin bends off the walls, the bones crumble, this place is so old.

When I saw the great buildings of that city, I knew I had to stay. I couldn’t possibly leave these skyscrapers behind, go back to the small town in which I had spent much of my adolescent life. I didn’t want to ever return. It was the buildings that kept me.

The city and its old, time-worn buildings covered the sky. The sun reflecting off the dreary windows. The stone arches and stone walls were rare and antique.

This makes me think of a building. I dont really understand how to make a building but I have always wanted to create one and plan out the technicalities of it. For some reason a nice building to create has been a dream of mine however i am not artistically talented enough to build one.

building something, or someone who builds things as far as i know, the designing of a building or place, someone who does that builds amazing things like the leaning tower of Piza, and the Eiffel Tower, which was made by a man named Gustave Eiffel, so you can see where the name came from.
By Taylor Thomas on 05.29.2012
As I walked down the street, I couldn’t help but to notice that the buildings weren’t normal. The architecture seemed warped somehow, twisted and wrung by some diabolical hand. I quickened my pace.

mi papa, la bellesa en las construccuones, la historia en las casas, donde habitamos, nuestra morada construida por lo que somos, gusto, luz, ezperanza en el cambio, cada detalle cuenta, ilustra la evolucion, sencillamente la historia.

People always talk about the architecture of the ancient Romans. But what I want to hear them talk about is the sewage management.

Kyle is in school for architecture. I think I read a fic once where Cas was one. Or was it Dean? I don’t want to be an architect, I can’t even spell it properly.

italy and churches but also local architecture is beautiful. i think that being in a building with different architectures can change your outlook on life. it is everywhere and should be appreciated

And the architecture of that building hit my eyes like a freight train. One that was moving at 200 mph and was carrying a vivid selection of sparkling blue marble and limestone walling that could pack a circus into your smallest dreams.

“The architecture is truly stunning.”
I turned to stare at Walter incredulously. “We’re about to sacrificed to some crazy heathen gods, and you find the time to appreciate the architecture?!” I hissed at him.
He shrugged nonchalantly. “Nothing much else we can do.”

The architecture of the heart is a complex thing. Not only does it have room for everyone, it holds individuals forever, no matter how hard you try to forget.

Architecture is what we have built with our hands and have devoted years into creating. but there is teh srchitecture of life and family which we keep crashing down like a bi plane with one propeller. what architecture have you crumbled today. what will you destroy tomorrow. And what will last for all of time. What is your foundation?

“Get your affairs in order”. How can someone say that so coldly? Is it even possible to not feel anything as you look in to the eyes of an innocent human and tell them to make sure they don’t have any regrets because the odds of it being all over in the morning are greater than the odds of them making it. How do you just tell someone that humanity is rotting away into a grotesque waste pile that’s only means of progression is to provide fertilizer for a new generation, a new world order who will have to live with the sulfur and toxins left behind constantly tearing at their lungs after every breathe? I still don’t know, but it seems I never will. I loved you dearly, but it seems this really is the end of my story. For me, there really is no hope left.

My dad was an architect. I used to pick up the blueprints to whatever new project he had and turn them into paper hats. I never tried to understand what the drawings were of, but somewhere between lines and spaces and cuts and curves, I found the peace and serenity hidden in the doorways and within halls and in the walls. It was home. Mine? No. Yours? Maybe

i have a friend going to school to be an architect. she absolutely loves it. personally, i feel i would be overly bored by the subject. though i do appreciate differences in buildings, i do not think i would have the creativity, patience or skill to design my own buildings. i love science.

It holds the world up, the shell of modern society, at times it represents the past yet mostly it is a sign of the future, architecture holds promise

“Architecture?” She craned her head all the way back, tousled blonde curls flopping every which way to accommodate the new position. “I dunno, Brent…I don’t really, I mean, I don’t know what to make of it.”
“It’s a gargoyle.” Her boyfriend said, helpfully. “I mean, well, obviously, but-”
“That’s precisely my point.” She sighed. “It doesn’t fit in with the rest of it.”
“This is all from the wrong century.” She gestured to the movie set. “I refuse to be a stuntwoman on a set that can’t even get the architecture of the time period accurate!”

The first time I saw Claire was in the art and architecture building. She was beautiful. Her eyebrows thick, hair long. Beautiful. I was attracted to her, and the first time I kissed her mouth, I felt nothing. She was beautiful. I was attracted. But she wasn’t mine.

Tall and overarching, sometimes breathtaking. Where math and art meet, with mind-blowing consequences. Still, the greatest buildings weren’t meant to be gawked at, they were meant to be used.
By Kixu on 05.29.2012
The art of drawing buildings summed up in a word. Without architecture our world would be little more than mud huts strewn across a boring plain of existence.
Defined over the years by periods, times and cultures. Through this art form we can define who controlled what and when throughout its influences

Architecture is one of the most interesting things that you could possible study, whether you are going on a tour or just observing a nearby building. The different structures and designs of buildings show the history of the building that you are visiting, and allow you to better discover the character of the building itself.

I’m an architect.
Scratch that, I’m an artist.
I’m a dreamer, a thinker, a creator, a screamer
I think I might even just be the same as a plain old building.
I tell the things others don’t dare to
I dream out loud
I yell to myself when my head’s in the clouds
I knock myself down when I’m getting too proud
And when I realize that no one’s around
to see me grow and bustle and boom,
I lock myself in a solid state
stick my mind in a solid room
and don’t come out until dusk is done
and the sun is gone
and everyone has gone to bed.

This place was foreign. But not just foreign, the shapes on this planet that the creatures lived in were beyond imagination. The architecture was more than just buildings, it was art.
