  3. I love and hate autumn. It’s lovely to see all the different colors and just the feeling it gives you, but it reminds me that winter is coming.

  5. There were no better words to describe Autumn better than her. The change of colour o the leaves and the way she reacted to me. The way everything becomes so dark too early and her dullness with me.

    We’ve changed. Not only purselves but what we are together too.
    I miss us, but like Spring, there will be a new beginning.

  6. It’s like a crisp, sort of burning feeling – one wrapped in pumpkins and cobwebs. A dying of things – a sort of contemplative time of year that signals the beginning of the end of things that have already come. It’s the best season.

  7. Being a close friend of Chicken Licken, Foxy Loxy decided that autumn was too dangerous a time for walking outdoors. Instead she stayed in Italy, was arrested for murder, found guilty, jailed but later acquitted.

    The moral of the story is: never take advice from a chicken. Or wear a hard hat.

  11. the red leaves that fall on the floor make a beautiful sight that is only present on those couple of months of the year, it is a mixture of negativity embedded with surprising beauty and colourfulness, yet the fact that they are dead leaves give that negative impression.

  12. The season I was made for; created to live within and around. The leaves enlighten me with their playful changing of colors. The brisk air momentarily takes my breath away and reminds me of just how trivial minor things can be, and how beautiful nature always is.

  13. It’s autumn again, and that means yet another family road trip. Each year, Dad and I go into town and load the family station wagon with all the essentials and meet back up with ma and sis with the rest of the gear and food. Then, it’s off to see the leaves turn in every state we can.

  17. The lake is starting to get ready to freeze for the winter and the boats are taken in. The air is so fresh it almost hurts to breathe how clean it is. The trees reflect the sky and create the greatest hues. The contrasting colors of autumn, are absolutely serene.

As Autumn wears on Winter draws closer, making the weather even colder. Autumn contains Thanksgiving and Halloween, two of the best holidays of the year, both full of food.

  21. The Upper Peninsula is the most beautiful place to be in autumn. The trees all turn to such bright beautiful colors and the air is fresh and clean. I love it up here. Everything feels warm and cozy. Apple cider is delicious.
