  1. Leaves, the tree, and no bees, wasps, or Mosquitoes.
Beer, football games I don’t understand, and cheerleaders I do.
Turducken, Peacan pies, and and wishful thoughts of snow.
And the best, warm cider, a cozy blanket, and time spent with you.

  2. Autumn has always been my favorite season. The temperature is just right, not too cold or too hot. The leaves and trees are beatufitul, full of lush colors. The hills look as if they’re on fire. I just love visiting the mountains and gazing at the waves of gold, red, and bright orange.

  4. The leaves fall around the ground and I can hear the soft pitter patters of the rain as it drizzles from the clouds above. I could smell it permeating off the pavements as I walked outside.

  5. I love the smell, the taste, the feeling. Pies, apple picking, thanksgiving, warm sun with a chill in the air. I feel like it’s the last taste of summer, except a little colder..

  6. Autumn. This is when my life changed. How? Well, I realized I was a crappy writer. Not just to pity myself, but I must learn to better myself to fulfill my dream of one day being a writer. I must work harder and become worthy.

  7. it is technically autumn
but it sure doesn’t feel like it
i feel like autumn is one of those topics
that everyone will write generally the same thing
i always struggle with being an individual
it’s like this thirst that i feel will never be quenched
i will never be comfortable among others
    like others
    and coexisting
    being like everyone else
    scares me
    but like autumn
    it soon changes into winter
it is inevitable for me to change

  8. buttermilk sunlight filtering through crispy, dying trees’ fingers. soft piano chords and gripping mugs of tea with cable-knit-mitten-ed fingers.

  9. Cold leaves and beautiful skies, crisp air and static hair. Hot tea and cocoa, wrapped in blankets and sharing eskimo kisses because our lips are too chapped. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and beauty.

  10. fall is my favorite season. there is just something about it. the leaves are so beautiful and everything seems right in the world. it smells perfect, and its just magical. fall is like everything rolled together to make one perfect whole. the sun shines and the light filters through the trees, making the forest look like its on fire. god, its just so beautiful.

  11. Autumn Cole, a girl with hair as red as a burning flame and eyes as dark as the tar that covered her worn and rather unattractive boots, walked a little nervously down the sidewalk. It was late summer, a steamy time of year in southern Florida, when moisture hung in the air and suffocated innocent passerby, all who seemed to be wearing very minimal amounts of clothing. Autumn was the exception. She wore a strawberry colored T-shirt under a black velvet vest, a pair of paint-splattered jeans, a striped baseball cap, and, of course, her worn out boots that with the large silver buckles. She was, to say the least, an interesting person to look at, and the people she drifted by stopped what they were doing and gawked for a minute at this crazy-looking yet strikingly beautiful girl. Autumn took no notice of the glances thrown her way, as she was too preoccupied by her own current difficulties.

  12. A new school year makes for a royal pain, but change and beauty are in the air. It starts mild and warm with summer still hanging on but ends with cold whispers of winter on your tongue. Warmth and family fill the months, and the changing eaves have a simplicity unrivaled.

  13. A silly name really. Reminding you of falling leaves. Of reds, yellows and orange. Of crunching and crushing.

  14. fall sumer spring falling leaves, we had a bad year for foliage this year, I wish we didn’t have as much rain, or snow for that matter! Higgies is closed for the season, whishing I had a hot dog right now! Missed the apple pie ice cream, can’t believe bball is starting so soon!

  17. I related to it because it symbolized change. And right now, that’s what I was about. I was shedding my plethora of impure, green friends and showing my true blazing colors. And soon enough, I would be naked to the world, not hiding one thing. Arms held high for the world to see the real me, I wasn’t going to hold back a thing.

  18. leaves fall like memories. friendships that ripen with time before fading out, crumpling like leaves in the mud. your name, i’ll never forget. orange. blue. red. green. yellow. electric.

  19. I don’t know what to think about autumn. We don’t really have an autumn here so I always forget what season we’re in while we’re in autumn. I do like the way everyone’s mood changes though.

  23. The autumn leaves fell onto my head, and I felt great sense of satisfaction as I looked out onto the field, which was filled with vibrant and beautiful colors of orange, crimson, and green. It made me feel like I was home again. Home was the greatest thing I had ever known.
The little girl that had made my life complete to me, a broad smile on her face. She encircled my waist with her little arms, and nothing felt more joyous and amazing except for that moment.

  27. The crisp yellow leaves made a gentle crunching sound beneath the soles of her shoes. She’d always loved autumn; there was a still quiet that hung over the land when the sun was high but the air was cool, as the plant life prepared for winter, the colors a sharply contrasted explosion of shades in one final, magnificent season.

  28. Autumn is my favorite season. The color explosion surprises me every time, despite the fact that the process is a yearly gig. I love the smell and the crispness of the leaves and how it feels to be completely encompassed by them.

  31. Such a wonderful time of the year, we can go and jump on dry orange leaves. Could we do it again? and again? and again? just gather them all and jump jump jump on them. So much fun, it is nice and cool, no need for a heavy jacket, maybe a scarf that will fly in the wind if it isn’t held tight.

  32. The fall is the season where yellow leafs fall from trees like hidden messages saying be patient, and I will return. The air is crisp like apples and the wind hits my face like fresh fish filets.

  33. The leaves crunched under her combat boots. I watched her walk away on that cool autumn day, crossing the field beside my house like she had so many times before. But this time would be the last, I ached because I had let her down yet again.

  34. When the world has the most color, and the leaves crunch after every step you take. The time when you leave your winter jacket at home but you still need a sweater to stay warm. When a cup of hot cider is perfect and when you catch a falling leaf and make a wish.

I would love to go and see the colors change back home, maybe jump in the dry leaves with my sister, so much happiness, maybe even go and see albie, he would like that, we could go and watch a movie, maybe we could go and dance
