  6. basic is how something is when you dont do anything to it. Basic is all you need, you don’t have add things to make it better, sometimes just basic is enough. If you have the basics in life, you can sometimes almost have everything you need. Some people hate basic, i think its a good thing to just have what you only need.

  7. Everything about everyone is basic. No one is truly unique. You just need to find the bits of basic that line up with another person and when you do, it’s like the stars line up. It might take time to notice, but basic love doesn’t need to sweep you off your feet.

  8. basic is the original. the base plan for all. it is something that does not require great detail. basic is basically basic. bland, and boring, but with a simple beauty. basic is also the language in star wars which is english. what up? star wars reference. suck it.

  14. why is nothing basic anymore? everything starts to seem so complicated that no one can even focus on the real things that matter in life anymore. it makes me sad because i do enjoy focussing on the small things, but i never have time to anymore because im always trying to keep up with everyone else

  16. Basic. Everyone is basic. Yet, no one is basic. I look around and everything has basic structure, basic principles. Still, it’s so different. Look at the details. Look at the engravings, the designs… The. Dust. Tell me, what’s basic about that?

  18. well i like things that are basic. that is because they aren’t complicated but you just get what you get and that is called basic. Basic is nice and simple and it gives you just what you need for the task at hand. Now, if you want more than what you need you must have another word.

  19. Simple hair hanging straight down the back, only ever brushed. No make up. Jeans and a tshirt. Basic. Boring. Ordinary. Who would ever look twice at her? She was nothing and nobody. That is exactly what she wanted from the world. To be the next great surprise. She could waste her entire life striving to make people see her, or she coud simply be herself. She could wow the world that she could do the things she could do, and all because she seemed to be so very very basic.

  23. Are there any other words other than basic? Thats a fairly basic word to write about. I’ve gotten it three times now, so I’ve run out of ways to write about basic. Its a simple word, it serves its function. Basic is a basic word. So…uh…basic is basically basic?

  27. Basic is simple and hardy, like fresh baked bread, brown rice and mashed potatoes. Apparently basic is full of carbohydrates. But so often people look to dilute, the simple, good, basic things, adding sour cream or butter; extra fat that we don’t need. I get the feeling I’m hungry.

    He was quite pleased with the reaction of his students. Everyone seemed rather puzzled, and they were certainly taking it seriously, thank God.
    One particular girl at the back of the class was particularly interesting. She didn’t seem too worried…
    Oh well, there was always going to be one genius who picked up the basics.

  29. Basic. Basic is a font, I think. Fonts make words, that we use to communicate with eachother and sometimes, ourselves. If you keep a journal you basically communicate with yourself. It’s a very crude sort of communication and it’s really easier to talk to yourself and have a good conversation. Journals are basically social network sites where you’re the only member. I like this, I poked them. You know?

  30. Basic is a clothing store in Korea. I think it must be some sort of knockoff~like theFACEshop, and WomensSecret, and REDface, and on and on…the clothing is cheap and BASIC. simple, and falls apart within a few months.

  32. Hard to do. Hard to get. Hard not to think. It’s hard to stay basic and not get all mixed up by all the difficult and complex things life brings. It’s when you’re not trying I guess, that things have a tendency to stay basic. I guess even here, I’m trying too hard to stay basic.

  34. Basic. Seems kind of cheap, I guess. Basic vs premium, everything you want for just a bit of money. But it’s also classy. Basic black. Minimalism is nice, sometimes. Kind of funny, basic and deluxe look just like what they are, plain and fancy.

  35. basic knowledge of life makes us happy, but as we go depper we see things that make us wonder, search for more, feel anxious to discover everything. so i come up with a question: is it better to keep it basic?

  40. According to Freud, we have two basic motives.
    Sex and… and I can’t remember what the other one is, of course. To a teenage girl, nothing is more important than the sex.
    Or at least, the idea of it.
    It’s only ‘cause, sage-girl, nothing is so raw and primitive and binding than that. We’ve loved both mentally and physically since the beginning of history, whether you believe in evolution or that Adam and Eve story that people tell me. (I believe in both, if that makes any sense).
    But what if it’s just the idea that’s so appealing?
    What if I feel like I have a HIGHER PURPOSE – I don’t need such primitive satisfaction.
    Or what if I just can’t admit that I love the wrong person?
    The whole idea sounds so complicated, but it’s really basic reasoning. If you think about it. Which I don’t want to.
    And I did remember what the other basic motive was, sage-girl. I think it’s aggression. Or something like that.
