  1. Beloved, if you can describe yourself with this word you are lucky. Not everyone has that, so remember it. Remember someone else out there cares about your well-being, your dreams, and your life.

  2. I know I’m too young to be thinking about this, I’m not yet twenty- but lately, this past year, since I’ve started college, all I can think about is the one for me. My beloved is out there, I know it. Since breaking up with Paul last February, I know that there’s someone amazing out there, meant for me! He, she, I don’t care! Just so long as we connect. I’m waiting!

  3. anything in my heart that makes me smile or feel something other than tension or hate.

  4. It’s hard to let go of something you are so proud of, and when so much effort went into creating it. But that’s what I’ve just done. I helped “yarn bomb” a street in my local town. We knitted and crocheted all sorts of small and large items and adorned trees and poles with them. It looked wonderfully colourful and inviting in the midst of a wintery day. But by the next morning most of them had been ripped down, including my beloved crocheted tree, complete with leaves, flowers and a giant lizard up the trunk. Yes I’m sad, but there was always that possibility, the worst case scenario, that this might happen.

  7. beloved is when you just love to be loved… or maybe it’s not really that at all. maybe it’s something like you already are loved and you just really adore something. adoration is an amazing thing. i think i’ve loved before. beloved… never really had to say that, or think that. beloved. hm. i wonder what other people have said about beloved. seems like a lame word, with a good word in it.

  9. I am my beloved, and my beloved is mine.. she sang and sang.. her heart to content. Where once it was contrite, broken and downright gross. She now smiled as she sang My beloved is mine..

  10. Hello, Pretty. I know things are rough for you right now, but I love you. Hang in there, all right? Things will find a way of working themselves out, and someday soon we’ll have the chance to have our own crazy adventures together instead of just talking about what the future might possibly hold. The world is full of brightness and wonder, and I can’t wait to experience all of that with you, my love.

  11. “My beloved,” Franz spoke softly and still his breath hissed through his fangs like a thousand whispers under a midnight sky. “Please, allow me to make you immortal. Then, we shall be together, as one, in eternity.” Myra languidly opened her sapphire eyes and gazed deeply into his. Tantalizingly, she moved her soft, perfectly-formed hand to his face. Just before she reached his cold, sallow skin, she balled her fingers into a fist and punched him on the nose. “Dude,” she said, “I’m only fifteen. There is totally no way I’m going to be stuck at this age forever. If I am, I’ll never be able to get my driver’s license.”

  12. I hate the talk of love because no one knows what it is or how to feel about it. People think it’s sacrificing things to make the other person happy, and I think that’s bullshit.
I had happiness, and still have it, with someone who respects me for me and gives me the freedom I want. Well, I shouldn’t say “give” because he doesn’t impose anything on me, but he lets me be myself.

  16. the words “be” and “loved” how ambivalent and opaque they are. To be is our right, no our duty as humans. We will always be. Whether if is being sad or being high, being happy or being punched. We will always be. Everyone will be born, and everyone will be dead. However, in this huge amalgam of be-ings, only a few will be loved.

  17. Hello beloved. You and I are together forever now. We have shared something unlike anything I’ve ever shared with anyone else. I feel an amazingly intimate feeling that is absolutely unexplainable. You belong to me and I belong to you. Beloved.

  18. I don’t know what to write about beloved. It seems like it should be in an obit. Beloved father of two. Maybe I am just very cynical, it just seems too formal to be a very loving word. Other than that, I just stumbled upon this website and don’t know what else to say.

  19. I simply LOVE this word, “beloved”, I don’t know something makes it sound so beautiful, so pure. Maybe because some of my favorite songs are called Beloved, like David Lanz it’s so beautiful, so simple, so pure. Even though it might sound weird, Jesus is my beloved.

  22. It’s like that one person that you can’t stop thinking about like they’re far away, no matter what you do, but somehow close, and you carry them with you wherever you go, and you think of them when you’re in a dark place, and when you make art, and when there’s nothing else that makes you happy.

  24. He was my beloved. I would have done anything for him. I would have scaled mountains, swam the ocean and bled to death for him. And yet he didn’t see – he was much too focused on his self-destructive habits to realize that someone else in the world cares. He is now gone, and I can’t believe that I still miss his warmth, his smile and his arms.

  25. I tried to not love you. I tried really hard. But then you came back, just in time to step onto a plane so you can take your beloved gun and fight for the”freedom” we were promised. I only have one request. Love me like you swore you would, or grant me my freedom and please let me have my heart back. I’m sick of writing about you, please just let me have a new topic.

  27. be loved, to be loved. being loved is nothing easy. its new to me, as it is to many young souls. but is it true? around every corner in life i stand there guessing, is this true? am i really loved by this person standing in front of me?

  28. beloved. How meager those two words are “be” and “loved”, what does it mean to be? does it mean to exist. Is a dead person still a being? Is being dead possible? how can you BE anything after you have left this world? After all is gone, is a possible to still be loved?

  29. I last saw her in London a month ago. I don’t know when I will see her again. I need to tell her things that she will not want to hear. If I tell her the truth, what we have is lost; if I don’t tell her anything, perhaps I will be lost.

  35. He was beloved. I can’t even believe that I talked about him like he wasn’t. Maybe I didn’t. To feel so deeply about someone makes me want to stir my oatmeal slowly. Offer it up to the little bears like Goldy would. Stay gold Pony Boy. Stay gold.

  40. Beloved implies a sort of “cute” love; Dads are loved, dogs are beloved.

Alternatively, it might just be something that people love as a group, but not individually, like a town idiot that everybody feels sorry for.
