    my friend caitlin is obsessed with benches and much of her photography is centered around benches.

    i sat on one with my first boyfriend after he asked me out. we looked out onto the water and talked about life. i never knew that i would remember that to this day.

  10. I sit in the park on a breezy fall day, watching the red, orange, gold, and brown of the leaves falling down around me like rain. The sun filters through the leaves, giving everything a rich, bright hue, the hue of happiness. I listen to the twittering of birds, the chattering of squirrels as they warn me to stay far, far away. It is beautiful.

  11. a bench is something yo sit on, you can sit on a bench when you feed pigeons or any other type of bird. more than likely it will be pigeons because there are far too many in britain, but tis still nice. they still get bread.

    A bench is also a type of clothing brand, usually worn by what we name today as ‘chavs’.

  12. Benches are fairly adorable. Such a simply concept to take a load off on a wooden seat. They aren’t the most confortable of lounging furniture but they do make any outdoor setting a tad bit cuter.

  17. a bench is an object upon which we sit on. it is usualmade out of wood and ocassionaly, metalr plastic. it is also a brand of clothing that people buy with the intention o making a statement abot their financial status. i dont particularly like it. it sucks.

  26. I sit on the bench when i am tired, and well I have to say that I’m tired often, so thank God for having a bench be an idea, because benches were used even back in the middle ages! So yes i do love a bench but will never be more than friends.

Hammurabai, Moses, Aristotle . . . but the one that may be most surprising these days is the larger than life sculpture of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.   36. Benches,, There are some at the park so you can sit on them if you get tired or if you just wanna chill with friends. Or sometimes benches are what hobo sleep on. Its sad

  38. The Supreme Court and all its members are large in our civic imaginations. So when you go to D.C. and visit the Court and sit in the gallery for an oral argument, it is a little shock to see how modest the courtroom is, and how low the bench, and how close to you the justices are.

  39. Park benches at sunny days, one of my favorite places to read, watch people and imagine how their lives are like, take pictures and even write.
    It’s a very relaxing and inspiring place, definitely!
