  1. Today is anything but bleak, in comparison to yesterday. Every morning, I open my blinds while maintaining a penchant position in bed. This is my method for checking the weather… I only occasionally double-check online.

  16. it was a bleak future for that someone who drowned in his own sorrows. Who did he think he was, ans what did he think he was going to do when he got to that point of not knowing. I wish I could help the outcome of his situation.. but alas, what can I do? I don’t know much of it anyhow. Too bad, as his life will sure be wasted.

  24. It was a bleak day. You could see the mountain tops forming over the clouds. The lovely family wanted to go to the beach, but obviously there was no way that was happening. They were sad about it but we’re going to make the best of the situation.

  30. Alley ways are bleak. Dim lights are bleak. What else is bleak? I don’t know what to write. It reminds me of a girl, walking down an alley way, the dim lights above her flickering with each step. She can’t remember her name, how she got to the alley, or where she’s going. Her hands are cold, but the rest of her body is burning up. What happened to her early that night? Why is she shaking?

  33. bleack reminds me of cold winter days in Michigan. it also is the current outlookfor so many who live in Detrroit under current economic conditions. Bleak is a negative sounding word, but it oes not mean total disaster just a temporary set back. Thise site is interestering since I am typing much faster than it is producing my letters. I hope my encounter is not so bleak, but assists me in finding another resource for my students to practice their writing. However, I wonder how many woould know the meaning of bleak without wasting time looking for the definition!

  39. Bleak was the outlook of running full speed through the Great Redwood Forest, naked, with my eyes closed. Though the smoke burned my eyes and there were char marks on my bottom, I was determined to escape the advancing flames if it meant getting briar scratches on every single part of my (external) anatomy. Next time I light a fart, I intend to use proper fire precautions.
