  1. Water boils pretty fast, but not fast enough. Not when you’re making tea. Not when you’re making ramen. Not when you need it. Or maybe I’m just too impatient that the results don’t come fast enough.

The boy started to empty the package into the pot, but his mother stopped him. “Don’t dump it in all at once,” she said. “If you take it by the handful instead, like this–” she showed him what she meant: grabbing the end of a handful of spaghetti, “–and use it to stir the water, it will get limp and you can eventually let it slide into the pot. That way the spaghetti won’t stick together.”

  7. The water was boiling hot. It was meant for the Ramen Noodles for my lunch, but instead it spent all it’s heat on scalding the skin off my leg. I spent 38 hours in the hospital because of that water. Stupid Ramen noodles, I could have gone hungry. THey’re high in sodium anyway. Now I have a large splotch of shiny pink skin. sexyyyyy

  8. The water hadn’t even reached the boiling point, but the heat and steam were already cooking the naked body suspended above. I begged, I pleaded for them to release her, but they told me that time had passed. They knew, as did I, that it was a hoax. They were the ones who embezzled from the boss, and I had caught them. But somehow, they had convinced him that it was me. And now, my wife was the one being steamed above the near-boiling pot.

A little child approached it, stared for a moment at the mysterious cauldron, and then cautiously stretched out his hand and touched the pot. Screams and tears filled the air as the child frantically ran around the room waving his burned hand. The pot remained on the stove, unaffected by the pain it had caused the curious child.

  33. water boils at 100 degrees celsius. it is the prime temperature to cook many foods such as pasta, rice, amc and cheese. and other things that are yummy. it is also used to heat things up during chemical experiments in order to reach optimal temperatures and results. boiling creates many bubble as liquid goes to gas.

  36. Don’t pour boiling water into a cold glass teapot. I found that out the hard way, and as it turns out explosive glass shards shot all around your kitchen doesn’t make for the greatest Saturday afternoon.
