  1. Dancing bones. Bones that haven’t touched a ray of light since their last goodbye with the soul that thrived in them, and now they were alive again as if puppeteered by the devil himself. The jig, the Carleton, the Waltz. Every dance ringing out of the feet of the hollow skeletons who saw its glory, and I, the only living soul in sight, was there to witness it.

  2. It is dark and brittle. Not the way I imagined, Not the way it should feel, but that is how I feel it. I cannot see, but I use my senses more strong and more fiercely than others. I see colors through my fingers, they vibrate and fixate themselves into my being. I am the bones and I will solve this.

  4. All that’s left when life is over. At least, that’s what people think. In reality, the imprint you make on others with your life is what you leave behind. You may be gone, but the legacy you leave lives on through the impact you have made on others. You live, even if bones are all the physical evidence left of who you were.

  5. bones are white. bones are hard. bones are in living things and are all that remain when the living things die. bones.i have them… so do you. be careful not to break these bones. the white and hard bones. the eoney end.

  6. I can feel you in my bones.
Kiss me quick, breathe in my ear,
give me a run for my money. Come (almost) too close to breathe
and oh, I can feel your essence,
you je ne sais quoi in my bones, in the air, and in a bed we were never supposed to share, anyways.

    by Abbey on 05.11.2011
  7. what white bones carry me?
for they seep into my skin yet they do not show.
how do they know they are white?
for these bones hide behind me.

  8. Everyone has bones in their body. They’re kinda creepy to look at, but who cares. Bones from dead bodies are gross, though. Uhm, they’re white and brittle. You need to drink milk to keep them healthy. You can find out a lot about a dead person from looking at their bones. That’s usually all whats left after the body decomposes.

  9. Shovelling was hard work especially after the long drive. It was hot and the sun sleighed my weary body. The bones surely must be here.

  12. i don’t know where you are. they found your bones above the earth, and now you are one with it.

i miss you, even though i don’t think you ever thought we were close. i can’t imagine if you did, but i hope you did. i hope you felt something in your heart for me, and it doesn’t have to be love. i don’t think you are capable of hate, so i’m not worried about that.

i just miss you. and you’re bones are in the earth, and your soul is somewhere in the universe, probably close to your loved ones, but i can’t stop wondering “what if?” i hope at some point, you will look down at me, and feel my missing you. because i do, music man.

    love, your cutie.

  15. The wonder of them. I remember going on adventures in the nearby woods with my dad, and being amazed at the site of animal bones. Where did they come from? What kind of animal did they belong to? I often kept them, and tried to figure out what else animals were made of other than bones?. What was I made of?

  16. they are part of your body, your skeleton, they hold your body together. They are white and need calcium to grow, milk is good for them. They can break and need casts to fix them.

  20. I saw some old bones once, they were white. Not while like you would think, not like powdered milk, although they did seem to have some sort of powdery substance on them. No, they were a yellow while like old book pages after your cat peed on it. Not a pretty thing to think of having inside of you

  21. Those bones. They lay, waiting to be discovered. Suddenly they feel the light brush of an archeologist. The bones lye, waiting to be found. They can’t wait for the people who will look at them.

  22. She had plenty, more than enough, an ample supply of bones. Bones from turkeys and chickens and pigeons. Bones for soup; bones for chawing, gnawing, animals to feast upon.

  23. Bag of bones. That’s what my Mom was when she died. I never really visualized that saying until then. When the funeral home came and wheeled her out on a gurney, there was so little left of her. Tiny and frail and pale and not really there at all.

  24. ‘I can’t even lift this spoon to my mouth without totally focusing anymore,’ she thought, ‘and even if I could, I’m sure the arthritis would find it’s way up to my jawbone.’
She sat there in her wheelchair, staring at her spoon, wondering if her bones would at least have the courtesy to warn her before they turned her into a stone statue. But to anyone watching, she was just at war with her applesauce.

  25. like the show? never seen it. bones used to be my nickname in junior high cuz i’m so tiny and skinny. being really tiny is just as bad as being a fatass. people call you bones, tell you to eat a cheeseburger. dude, i eat. i eat all the time. and i don’t throw it up. i’m just born that way. so fuck off

  26. its really irritating to think that people don’t care so much these days that one show is so retarded i hate it bones bones is that her nickname she isn’t very pretty but that doesn’t really matter why is everyone so superficial and why do guys just want sex they like love too or they love love who doesn’t like love i don’t like my ob i wonder where jehovah will set my path in the future maybe i’m just being set up for something that i know nothing about but i’m grateful anyways no matter what happens and what path i get set on i just wanna do something that is honorable and not paying hommage to the man, i want to pay hommage to the creator of life not dr khoury he is so tyrantical and everyone has to follow him around like a little dog waiting for his beckon call so not fair and almost demeaning why is it that you hire people for certain jobs but then ask everyone to do whatever job it is that you want them to that is not a team teams play together and each person may bring a different quality to the game that is why they are specialist that is why they do what they do because that is their specialty its so stupid when is the world

  27. Scattered like a dead mans bones.
    Oh the loneliness.
    The beggars,
    the losers,
    how they struggle.
Only the breath of the wind,
    remains in their sickly lungs.
    Single and alone,
I tear the thought in half.

  28. There was the sound of tin and rain. That incomparable partnership that fills me with such hope of fresh mornings and good nights sleeps. It was a sweet sound; but the rain was no rain and the tin was no roof. As he stood up my granddads hips cracked out a painful, evocative sound scape and I was reminded of no summer storm but the cancer in his bones.

  29. they ricket when i walk,
clicking and clanking under my skin and muscles

  30. I emptied my heart with my sack of bones
strewn about your apartment with your glazed eyes
I hoped you would cry, or say something
    anything
but all you did was stare, checked you fingernails, glared in contempt
All I wanted was you, but you wouldn’t have that
You’re too good for me, you always thought it
    but never said it.

  31. Dem dry bones gonna rise again. When the prophecy of Ezekiel is read out loud, the whole room shakes, from the dust on the floorboards under the bed to the light fixture on the ceiling. The room begins to rattle and shake.

  36. They were dry, they were cracked, and they were all too white against the dark brittle ground. Caesar bent down, slowly, felt them across his hand, the strangely smooth touch. They were animal bones, he guessed – not as if they’d be human. They were alone out here in the middle of the forest, probably scattered around, and hadn’t touched or felt anything until he’d come trekking alone. Something about them in the middle of the forest put him at odds with the world

  37. Bones are a common theme in jewelry. Like wearing the trophy of a kill, we don shark’s teeth, tiny skulls, bird beaks, talons. It reminds us of a time when we were warriors, a time when we were fierce.

    by Shenoa L. on 05.11.2011
  38. I’m filled with bones. My old cat was a bag of phones, gangly, and loose. Ganwing on chicken bones, choking on fishbones. My friends are interested in a different kind of bone. They just want to meet someone who’s happy to see them. I prefer my chicken deboned.

  39. bones are what make up my body but they are more than just that. they give me structure, make me stronger, and keep me going. i hate the TV show “Bones” cause its really lame. I also think of the corpse bride and all the skeletons singing in the grave yard. oh, and also Jack Skellington. Can you tell I like tim burton movies??

  40. bones are the hardest as weakest part of our body. they are our structure, they just hold us so we don’t fall apart. in a way, they are like our family and friends if you think. they are inside and cause of them we don’t collapse
