A canteen is a container used to hold water. It is used by those in the armed forces or out camping. A canteen can come in great handy when someone is in dire need of water. Canteens are very durable and can withstand many weather conditions.
Obviously I think of water, but that’s in the back of my mind. On the first thought that actually counts, “canteen” sounds like “cantina” which reminds me of Mexico. A Mexican dance party with trumpets and great food. Fiesta. Ole.

When I see a canteen, I think camping! Camping is one of those thing I look forward to doing every summer. Oddly enough, I don’t think I’ve ever actually used a REAL canteen in the camping trips I’ve been on.
canteen. bein a child and going to the canteen for lunch in elementary school is one of the memories I will never forget. the canteen food was totally bad most of the days but we were always hoping to get our favourite food every day. and we always believed that it is going to better next time. we were young. we were optimistic. we were kids.

I used the canteen to fill it with the air I had left after you took away my breath. I missed you. Can you come back, so I can breathe again and release it from the canteen.
The canteen had slid underneath the car, so at the one moment he needed it most, it was nowhere to be found. He could feel his throat swell more and more in between shout. When he finally fell to the ground, he saw the shimmer of his silver canteen, but it was an inch too far.
