I wear a cap when I go to a baseball game. I wear a cap when I work. I wear a cap when I caddy. I despise caps oh so much. A touch of this strangely shaped fabric makes me feel like a slave, one of the masses, and afraid of what lies underneath: something natural, something neat. Hair, let it grow out and ignore the crys to see it cut. Let it flow and keep the cap off the bottle of shame.

the boy wore a red cap in the market. It was a flat cap. He stood out like a flower in a bomb site. Different. Like he might get stepped on any second. Every now and again his head would disappear and my eyes would strain to see him, but then he’d reappear and unfamiliar relief would wash over me. This lasted 60 seconds, and then he was gone forever.
Hats are worn on the back of my head. They look best that way. i like some hats. I don’t want to look like a boy though. That would be bad. Since I like girls. But I do like hats.
caps are silly, people think caps are cool but they’re really not, they’re basically hats but with a silly bit that pops out. people wear caps to be ‘cool’ but they’re just douchebags with a CAPital D. i don’t own a single cap because i’m not a douchebag.

Cap…a weird word for hat? Not really that great. I feel like more British people would use it. It’s not that great of a word, I much prefer hat. There was a book I read once…this guy sold caps. Many types of hats.
One day i was overcome by a dying thirst. All there was was this one last bottle of coke. I HATE coke and everytime i drink it I feel like Im drinking cardboard. They bring nothing but bad luck and this time was no different. I grabbed the bottle and of course when I opened it the cap popped off and hit me square in the eye.

Oh no not cap again. Well, Caps are good for holding stuff in place, like liquids in a bottle or the paste in your toothpaste tube. I think it’s actually a genius little thing going on there. without caps this world would be chaos.
You get caps at baseball games. I never went to a baseball game which kind of makes me sad. but I do have lots of caps. Actually no I don’t but I do have knitted hats because I make them because I got nothing better to do. caps are also on bottles and other fun stuff. \m/

I think of my cap and gown at my graduation from Undergrad at the University of South Florida. I was so proud that day but I wasnt relieved about being done with school because I knew i was going to Grad school in the fall. Presently I am one-year into my two year grad progam and when I get the cap for that one! Man I will be dancing across the stage!!! I can NOT wait!!!

I fee like i’m spellin gown wrong. am i? i’m not sure. also, cap makes me think of baseball cap, because I love baseball, especially the chicago cubs! they play today at 3 o’clock against the san fansico giants. i like to wear my cubs cap in the summer when i’m having bad hair days. It makes me look sporty and fun, which i guess is a good thing.

My boyfriend was doing the text and he said to me that he doesn’t heard the word “cap” since 6º of primary school.

A beautiful one at that.
It was red with blue stripes.
I loved that cap with all I had.
But then one day it just disappeared.
